This is a hole in the wall cafe that charges 4 -5 star prices!! The seating is uncomfortable!! They are out of even there house wine!! They are out of menu items!! A terrible experience and we walked out!!Maybe ok for a drink at midnight!!Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We humbly disagree with your assessment.A few points:1. Not a cafe2. We have reasonable prices compared to our competitors3. You didn't sit down for more than two minutes, the seating is quite nice with a glass of wine4. While my team was explaining the options you left abruptly, we have a decent size list of outstanding wines which change occasionally due to supply and vintage, we substitute when appropriate5. It wasn't a terrible experience, you came in with a scowl and were determined to have a bad night, I hope you're feeling better now.6. We close at 10You didn't eat or drink anything, so you don't get a vote.Kind regards

Let me conform at the outset that Hungarian food is acclaimed for its wonderful flavours worldwide, and in the tradition of the classic Hungarian restaurant, the Corner 75 menu has an enormous range of Hungarian and European dishes. For starters you should savour the amazing Goulash soup, the Matzo Dumpling Soup or one of my favourites Lecho with Frankfurters. For the mains you MUST dip into the Paprika Schnitzel (very Hungarian) or my favourite the Gipsy Roast (Lean pork fillets in garlic sauce and crispy bacon). But wait, no Hungarina meal is complete with some very flavoursome sides such as Hungarian Red Cabbage or Cream of Spinach and add to that some really good Lángosh (Hungarian Garlic Bread). There is also the ever popular Crispy Duck which my wife loves, or if you like taste the Eye Fillet, the Veal Fillet with Lecho Salsa, or Veal "Brassói (Pan fried veal strips with garlic, onion, bacon and herbs, tossed with sautéed potatoes). To top it off, the restaurant is BYO or if you prefer try the wonderful range of pálinkas; pure fruit brandies imported from countries including Hungary, Croatia, Montenegro and France. The host is Paul Varga who is a native of Hungary with over twenty years experience in Hungarian, Russian, Polish and Modern Australian cuisine. A must visit if you desire authentic Hungarian meals in a warm, casual and friendly environment.

the ambiance of the restaurant was causal and relaxing (some might consider it a bit noisy).a small but interesting menu was served, alongside with a tasting menu which captures much of the signature dishes.the wine menu was rather fun and exceptional, an extraordinary selection.overall good value for the food and experience.
