I met a friend for lunch here, having had dinner here a few years ago when it first opened. It is contemporary inside and you are immediately pleasantly greeted by hostesses. I knew i loved the pork belly soup but too large for one so asked waitress. She was very helpful in mentioning a great cold chai drink and Amphone's Chicken Curry which i mentioned it be not spicy. The meal came at a good time and it was sensational! My friend ordered basil stir fry which was very plentiful and looked wonderful. Very pleasant time and will go again soon.

We were looking for a place that would satisfy my unhungry pescatarian wife and my more meaty appetite while visiting Raleigh, and in reality, we were looking for a diner, but couldn't find a good Sunday - OPEN diner in our fast 10-minute search, but we hit the Glenwood Grill on Google. The reviews were good, and we were in a hurry, so we headed for this small shopping center restaurant. I wasn't too happy when they sat us at a tiny 2-top when there were five 4-tops available. As it turns out, all the tables were reserved, and by the time we left, every table was full. We felt fortunate to have found the tiny 2-top (as it turned out, the only reason we lucked out at all was, because another couple refused the table and left.).Anyway, the food was delicious and the multi-berry individual cobbler, which we shared, was absolutely superb. I had the lamb roast with a great side caesar salad, which was very good, and my unhungry wife just had the crab bisque, which she enjoyed. We hope to go here again, but with reservations.

We accompanied our grandson to this local restaurant for a brunch lunch over the weekend. The offering were unusual, but very friendly to vegan and vegetarian. Since I am neither, I was puzzled. In the interests of family peace, we ate there anyway. Our grandson, his significant other, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The others really enjoyed their choices. I consumed mine.

Fresh food prepared simple and good. Great biscuits, light and fluffy. Food was good but menu was short and lacking choices. The cocktails were disappointing. Service was good. Nice artsy atmosphere in warehouse setting. There was indoor and covered outdoor seating.

We had not been to Margaux's for over 20 years but were glad we went back as we enjoyed our dinner. We had reservations for 6 pm and were seated as soon as we arrived, about 6 pm. Parking was available as it is part of a strip mall. The noise level was moderate. The atmosphere very nice and not the feel of just another restaurant.Bob (#75) was our waiter and did an excellent job. He was very attentive and checked back a few times, with minimal interruption. Several other people assisted him by bringing our order and clearing the table. We chose the prix fixe offering which we would do again. First we were served a basket of bread, including some sweet cornbread. This was the weak part of the meal. My wife had the Caesar salad and I had the tempura tuna roll. Both were very good. Our entrees arrived hot and on a very hot plate. Yeah! I had the scallops. They were cooked just right and season well but there were only 3 medium sized. The automatic sides were spinach and sticky rice. My wife had the pork chop which was a nice size and cooked just right. And we each enjoyed our dessert. Two more scallops would have gotten an "excellent review".
