Went to this place since I was craving a burger and saw some good looking pics on tripadvisor. Ordered a vegeterian burger and basically just got hamburger bread with a bit of grilled vegetables and cheese, no burger. Wouldn’t think it would be hard nowadays to find or make a vegeterian/vegan burger. It tasted so bad that I only took one bite, but I had to pay for the “burger” anyways.

Konoba Istriana

-Location: 3/5 (typical Croatian konoba, close to Pomer center)-Menu: 1/5 (traditional Istrian dishes, both meat and fish. However, dishes are tasteless and watery)-Service: 1/5 (unprofessional, disorganised and unfriendly. Too long waiting times, rude owner)-Price quality: 1/5 (poor price quality ratio given the awful service and food quality)We came here for a Sunday dinner in August and had mix busara fish (scampi, shells, octopus) as first dish, grilled tuna and cuttlefish a second dish. Everything was tasteless and watery. Though, the worst part was the service. We had to wait 30 minutes before ordering, no one was taking care of us. Indeed, we decided to leave without taking the dessert because the waiter never came back to our table after having served us the second, even though we called him several times. We complained about the service received with the owner and he did not apologise. Other clients just before us also complained for thr service received. In summary, this is a touristic place to avoid. Guests are not cash cows and deserve respect. Never more, for sure we will not return.

Valter Restaurant and Tennis - Restoran Pula

A gourmet lunch is a must after leisurely swimming and sunbathing in the two best locations with superb cliffs and turquoise water, Gortanova and Valkane bays. Last year I was most satisfied in eating here so I returned every day on my short holiday. The food is freshly prepared from best ingredients and personal service is friendly. My favourites are seafood, tuna steak, grilled small octopus with blitva, a Croatian speciality of boiled potatoes and mangold leaves.

We receive guests only through reservation because outstanding preparation, goods are from market onto the plate. Please note that due to only fresh goods, especially fish menu, it is highly important to reserve seating at least 8 hours before meal.

We arrived here on a warm evening to find there was no A/C where they were seating us. Also, there were few if any other guests in the restaurant. The waiter was a bit aloof and warned us that not everything on the menu was available....no specifics. We managed to order our dinners and enjoyed our meals, but the bill ended up being about $200/per couple, which was very expensive compared to other fine restaurants in which we had dined, We drank very little in the way of alcohol. Apparently the restaurant does most of its business from hotel guests/packages. Would not recommend this restaurant or eat here again.Dear Mr. Henrick, You were in Restaurant. As we recall, two couples. One couple ate vegetarian course, and it costed together with water and known beer 725 HRK what is as you said approximately 106USD. Second pair consumed cheese from Island of Pag, Wine Cuver Trapan, Malvazija Coronica, Salad , Istrian Ox, Black truffles, in amount of 1170 HRK. This small food of istrian delician you would pay nowhere such miserable. Please go in some Restaurants in Italy , Austria. This everything was 171 $ what is per person 85USD . You had two bills, and you paid them seperately. So you said that you paid per couple 200% is lie. It is not fair from your side , especially from USA to speak such nonseanse. If you ask for it, you pay per couple 138,5 USD per couple, and you should appologize to us. We served you as real gentlemans. Except that we need to worry about your commotion that you ask on open terrace A/C. Even you could use it if we close everything, but we do not do that. In Restaurant you could without any problem get a table where is a/c as in whole object. You from waiter asked for food that is special from Istria ( short Istrian slow food) and you let our Chef do everything for you. In our Restaurant there are our guests, but uppon inquiry as well. Guest has our menu , and comes already prepared compared to you. It is our pleasure that you are honest and that you had great meal. It is important for us and we hope that you will come next time. We invite you. Best regards-.
