The Steakhouse and Grill Corcovado is located in the old Las Islas restaurant. Las Islas was recently sold and the motel and restaurant are separate entities. It is not open for breakfast, only lunch and dinner. I had one meal there on my trip to Pt Jimenez. I had the rib eye and it was very good. I asked Marvin where they bought the beef and he said it was imported. It was much more tender than the usual local beef.

We had dinner at Pearl of the Osa 4 nights and several lunches there as well. Everything we had was great from appetizers to entrees to frozen fruit drinks. The service was great even on a night the power was out for a period of time. Friday night Pasta night was very good! Thanks Gabriel and staff for a great experience.

All the ingredients are sources locally and the freshness shows. Had the spaghetti w shrimp upon recommendation and was delightful. Meat sauce ravioli and pasta primavera were so good. The salad bandiera was a great starter and the concha (clams,mussels) appetizer wasnt out of the water for very long. Never been disappointed here!

Loved the chifrito (I heard it was a national appetizer type dish but I didnât need more food) and friendly service! I also enjoyed the rice, beans and sausage and handmade tortilla.
