We arrived in the area on my wife's birthday and wanted somewhere special to eat that night, we found this restaurant whilst walking along the beach and thought it looked great for lunch. The manager told us it was not open during the day but that they were open in the evening so we booked and returned later well the wait was worth it as they had laid a special romantic table for us and had prepared a gourmet platter of local seafood, lobster, rock lobster, prawns, line caught fish and crab too, the waiter was very attentive and professional which made for an excellent evening and celebration, we will be back not just for the food but also because the accommodation looked excellent, thank you

It is not easy for European to find real fine dining restaurant in Zanzibar. We visited few places on the island but non of the meals can compete with Cobia Restaurant in Tulia Resort where we stayed. Every day is new menu depending on what they have fresh and this is way I prefer it also in best restaurant in Europe. I tried amazing red snapper fish and tuna fish. They have very good selection of wines and fresh juices. The atmosphere with view to Indian ocean and friendly staff just perfect. Flambe cooking and grilling on the beach was nice surprise.
