My boyfriend and I recently had dinner at the Lincoln in for my 31st birthday celebration and it was truly the most magical (and delicious) experience! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Mara who truly made us feel so welcome and special, it was the first of many unforgettable moments on this perfect night! We enjoyed sparkling cider on their terrace and marveled at the picturesque landscape and oncoming sunset. Shortly after, we were invited inside to be seated in the lovely dining room and (drumroll...) given our menus!!! I couldâve screamed with delight reading it over and over again in anticipation! I donât feel I have the vocabulary to even begin to describe this meal except to say that it was the most spectacular dining experience I can remember and we were overjoyed with everything from start to finish. I wish I couldâve eaten the starter 5 times over! I can still remember the taste of the dessert... Iâm losing focus here! After the meal, we were visited by Chef Saromova and had such a nice chat about her experiences as a chef and her endless passion for cooking, as if it werenât illustrated in her culinary triumphs! I think we were the last people in the dining room as we were having such a nice time talking with Mara and Jevgenija and honestly did not want to leave! Iâm so happy to have photos and a menu to remember this night forever, and I canât wait to come back soon to experience another masterful evening in the hands of Mara and Jevgenija! Donât miss out on this fabulous experience!

Excellent quality food and the crowded parking lot proves it. It is only 2 1/2 miles past the entrance to Gore and is small, so a reservation is highly recommended. Had their pad thai as a starter and it was flavorful and full of fresh vegetables. My husband had the stuffed pork chop - no fat or gristle at all and very tender meat. I had the cod which was tasty and portion was large. All their portions are generous and served with veggies and a starch plus a nice size salad with delicious homemade dressings. It is pricey, but the quality of the food and the portions are in line with the prices. I only wish their drink prices were a tad more reasonable (I guess they are in line with the in town restaurants). Servers are friendly and great. Homemade bread is also excellent. A wide variety of menu choices - all very good from what I've tasted.

The Birch Ridge Inn is a Lodge with a restaurant on the Killington Access Road, less than a mile from the base of the mountain. It is a beautiful old building with a wonderful bar that looks like Bing Crosby should be sitting there. At Christmas the tree in the bar is spectacular so make sure to stop by for at least a drink if not dinner. The food at the restaurant is very good and priced in line with the quality. The staff is very friendly and the owners Bill and Mary are always there to greet you and make sure your visit is special. This is a place worth the visit.
