Things to do in Ploiesti
If you're driving from Bucharest to Brasov, the first 50 kilometres are quite devoid of any interesting or attractive places for a snack or a coffee. So on a Sunday morning, after half an hour on the highway, already past Ploiesti, we were encouraged to see the signs for Ploiesti Shopping City, which is a giant shopping complex out in the farmlands. We thought we would at least find a food court, maybe even a McCafe. So we were pleasantly surprised to find that they have a branch of Paul - a chain that we know from other cities. We both had omelettes - mine with ham and my wife's with cheese - which were excellent, accompanied by crinkly lettuce and fresh brown rolls. My wife had an espresso and croissant and I took a mini three-chocolate cake and a Cappy apple juice. The bill, as I recollect, was under RON 40. Service was excellent. They accept credit cards. And since it's an open space in a shopping mall, the area was non-smoking. (Generally speaking, Romanian shopping malls allow smoking only in enclosed restaurants.)A good experience, and a welcome change from the scruffy bars that you usually find on the national highways.
Quiet and nice little italian restaurant , great for pizza , pasta , italian food and of course great traditional romanian meals . You'll be welcomed in a warm atmosphere of a familiar restaurant , just to make you feel at home .
Visited this restaurant only for lunch. The daily menu is a good overall pick. Unfortunately, there is no posibility of choosing. For the rest of the dishes, the waiting time is long despite the lack of customers. Services not quite great but if in transit, it is a good value for money!Apple strudel is delicious. Tiramisu as well.If you liked our apple strudel so much ( recipe from Tirol ) , maybe you could be so kind and rise our review .Thank you very much .

Very good food, drinks and desserts. Staff from bar are willing to prepare the cocktails by your needs, They do delivery which takes about 40min, and is very good, the food comes at your door hot and you can it it in the comfort of your house. The terrace is nice, usually quiet, good music.
We usually go there on summer season. The pool is very nice, the restaurant has a great food and the atmosphere is very calm. This club organises nice events, weddings or parties. 5*

this restaurant was recommended by hotel staff as something good with tipical romanian food. indeed it was o.k. inside, but when we ordered sarmale it appeared, that they don't have it. ciorba de burta was awful, lamb chops were ok. the staff was nice, but the toalette stinked a bit...

Welcome to Tres Olivos! You are the first Tapas Restaurant in Ploiesti. We invite you to take a few steps in Spanish gastronomic culture and enjoy Spanish tapas sites and other Mediterranean and international goodies.
The locale is situated near the main boulevard in Ploiesti. It want's to be a restaurant with Spanish cuisine but ends up being a Jack of all trades.I had the fish and chips. The fish was okish, the chips were literally chips in the thin sliced potatoes, some of which were burned , oily, not so tasty. The desert, chocolate lava, was one of the worst i ever ate. The service needs improvement.
Great fold, great drinks and great entertainment since 2003 !
All my respect for the style, professional cuisine plus an immaculate visual presentation. But I once was there to ask for something non-Viennese: a pizza. Even more, a Hawaiian one, the chef was in the garden replying me they are out of pineapple but instead they made an unforgettable pomegranate topping pizza. Love the taste of their cuisine, my only advice on the interior design: more classy tables matching the neo-classic style of building.

Akua Garden Restaurant is trying to combine the classic elegance and the modern views in the mission of satisfying all the customers searching an amazing food experience.
was here this week, we were the only people in the entire restaurant. The best part of this place is only the design in the lower part of the restaurant, a new modern vibe and the fact that if you are an iqos smoker you can smoke inside. The prices are high in comparison to the lack of attention to details and the portions of the food and even the taste. By attention, I refer to not having any table paper, anything over the table, the forks and knives were all in a bucket Everything is about design and first impression, but that is where the good parts end.Poor menu lacking variety on the main dishes and also at the deserts. We were there as a couple, so for 2 people that ordered starters 1 portion of bruskete with tomato and basil (that means 6little baguette slices that are heated in the toaster with some chopped tomatoes and some basil sauce....far from what the original recipe is ), we ordered pork ribs(that had no spices on them, no sauce, only some sliced cabbage, and duck breast made on the grill ,the portions were small, no taste at all,no sauce to go with the ribs ,and then we ordered probably the worst profiteroles we ever had (canned whipped cream, defrosted doughnuts, very frozen ice cream, no taste at all). I really wonder why the owners do this to themselves when they can have much better food, daily menus, happy hours, food delivery ...For sure I will go there in some years from now, maybe they will figure it out in the end, right now it looks like fast food or bistro that we paid 170lei.

Super bad service, we made a reservation for 8 and they refused to add the third table so we needed to squish at the table. The waitress rolled her eyes every time we asked for something and the waiting time was long... definitely wonât come back...
