This restaurant is inside Itaipava Castle and offers a nice experience within its walls. Asked for vegetarian options and the kitchen was happy to give me a few. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was really cool! They offer good wines too. Service was welcoming and helpful. Hello, Thiago! I went in this restaurant during brazilian valantine`s day, which every place is crowded and service is compromised. But this restaurant surprised me, I really had an amazing experience. Indeed, chef Barão knows what he does. But for me the desert was something that I will never forget... himself prepared a guava fondue with basil touch which we dove the Brie Cheese... simply marvelous... This is a must go place if you are in Itaipava.

We had to go there with our dog and as they have outside tables they accept that. Restaurant have good atmosphere and they have good wine selection too.

Me, my wife Vânia and our friends Teresa and Jaime had a great time at time enjoing a fondue with bread and cheese, meat and sauces finishing with fruit and chocolate.Very tasty. We also had the pleasure to listen to a very nice couple, Giulia and João , singing and playing very good music.Good Evening Wellington.We are so glad to read your evaliation. Araras is a small area situated at Petropolis surroundings. It is 30 min far from Petropolis city, however, it is a worthy visit. This restaurant has all Araras charming and the food is correct, with a large choice of delicious see food dishes. We had grilled pargo fish in mushrooms sauce and it was great.

The ambiance is nice, the fireplace was on, linen napkins, good glasses. The food was extraordinary. My husband had steak au poivre and I had a fantastic steak with kinkan sauce, flambe with Cointreau, reinforcing the citric taste. Both came with very good rosti potatoes, but you can choose another siding if you wish. Wine was reasonably priced and unfortunately I had no space for dessert, which was a pity, they had very nice suggestions. Next time, I will pass the toasts with pâté, cheese and butter.Hello Ms. Marise. We're glad you've enjoyed your meal in our restaurant. What an amazing restaurant! Excellent food, reasonable prices and the wine, well, their wine list is out of this world. It was the best Spaghetti a Carbonara I have ever had. Bought lots of bottles of wine to bring home (with a 20% discount). Service was also great.Thanks very much for your avaliation. We'll waiting for you to do our best ever :)

Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat...Warning a long review!!First the food is delicious ...Myself and the others had filet mignon..It was cooked to each of our preferences....The potatoes though not a baked potato per se was creamy and yummy....The onion dish was onion flavor and sweetness..Over all the food was just fabulous French cuisine ....I loved my fresh squeezed orange juice.Plus they served a glass of a bottle water(charged of course)Now some chit chats....Unless you are going to be in the area willingly to drop a load of cash....it is not worth the 2.5 hours one way car ride from Rio de Janeiro, going up a curving mountain â° plus the 2 hours or so for the dining experience then 2.5 miles going down the mountain on a possible rain soak road...Then maybe....Our experience there was a bit daunting...we made a reservation for 5....Little de we know EVERYTHING is made from scratch... literally.....FYI: Order dessert when main entree is served...Appetizers along with entree come slowly.Little did we know that a party of 10 plus 4 other tables of 2-3 folks plus our table of 5....with only one ....It appeared to only one or maybe 2 ?? of a Waiter ....I usually dine/review restaurants alone...it takes me approximately 30-45 minutes to from start,eat,then leave.I figure 1.5 hours- 2 hours for our party.In this case it was 3 hours .....a majority of it was waiting for the feedbags!..The ambience was nice the husband of the â chef/owner entertain us with playing the piano!! He was very good.Over all the food was delicious tasty and fabulous...Note: I spent 800Real...thatâs $200.00 in USA dollars...Also in reals you can choose to pay in 4 separate installments
