Oulu (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈowlu] ( listen); Swedish: Uleåborg [ˌʉːleɔˈbɔrj]) is a city and municipality of 201,124 inhabitants (31 August 2017) in the region of Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. It is the most populous city in Northern Finland and the fifth most populous city in the country. There are no larger cities, apart from Murmansk and Norilsk, Russia, that are more northerly than Oulu. It is also considered one of Europe's "living labs", where residents experiment with new technology (such as NFC tags and ubi-screens) at a community-wide scale.

Restaurant is a few blocks from city center, still worth to visit. Interior is nicely decorated, more economically than others :) I went there for burgers with my family and list of burgeres was good, many options. Portion was quite big and tasty. But have to admit, have also got better burgers in Oulu than here. Only issue was that there is extremely limited places to park car so park car somewhere and walk.

We had really nice pepper steaks that were cooked to perfection and accompanied with smooth jack daniels pepper sauce. The restaurants for booked full so the staff was struggling with the service. Seemed that everyone had to wait a bit to get service.

Typical business arrangement with great dinner and sauna afterwards. Table was set by a large floor to ceiling window with great view of the lake. Food was excellent - light and delicate. Traditional dishes like roasted reindeer was prepared with smaller portion and less heavy. More like a fusion of French and Scandinavian. The best reindeer I ever tasted. Desert was delicious and only with a hint of sugar. Sauna facility was excellent.

Café Loma has a large variety of homemade sweet and savory treats on offer. The location, right next to the Bothnic Sea and famous Nallikari beach make for a great place to drop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will most likely find something you enjoy. Me and my girlfriend had the tapas board and everything was so good. We also sampled some of the cakes and cupcakes that were prepared that day, YUM!
