We were here for the retirement party of a now-former colleague. The food is really amazing. Don't come here for quantity but for quality. Expect to eat several small meals and spend the evening here.Service is not fast but really good and friendly. Amazing food and beverage arrangements.

This cozy cafe, with indoor and terrace dining, is located on Veemarktstraat, near the market square in Breda. Their specialty - tostis! A tosti is similar to the French 'croque monsieur' - 2 slices of bread, with fillings between, toasted or grilled. A delicious 'toasted sandwich', great for a light meal or snack.Here you'll find mouth-watering tostis served by friendly staff. Their eye-catching, unique menu stands out. They offer a wide choice of tosti fillings (both savoury and sweet), different types of bread and sauces, hot and cold beverages as well as dessert. Further, they offer vegan tostis (a plus for vegans and those looking for a vegetarian alternative). Personally, I enjoyed their chicken tex-mex wholemeal bread tosti served with sliced cucumber on the side accompanied by truffle mayonnaise sauce. A crunchy crust on the outside with flavourful fillings - definitely a temping treat. Helpful staff, nice atmosphere. An interesting feature is their tosti cellar/basement. Guests will find swings for those who want to try a different type of seating. We made a stop here for some beer and a bite. We had the selection of tapas. I never thought it was possible to be so creative with potatoes. All the tapas were amazing. We will definitely return here for dinner.

Gisteren super lekker gegeten bij By Tater. We kozen voor het menu van de chef maar konden dit aanpassen met een ander voor- en nagerecht. Het voorgerecht van het menu was tartaar met pappadum. Verrassend en erg lekker. De bisque van mijn man was helemaal super. Lekker sterk getrokken en nog gevuld ook! Het hoofdgerecht was 2 bereidingen van hert een biefstukje en een stoofgerecht. Daarbij heerlijke groentes en lekkere frietjes. Tot slot kozen we voor een kaasplankje. Lekker met een glaasje Pedro Ximenez. Echt een aanwinst voor Teteringen. Wij zijn fan!

Wederom de week aanbieding genoten. Het menu was perfect. Alleen de bediening liet het wat ons betreft af weten. Het was te druk voor de twee lopende bediening dames. Dat vonden wij niet prettig. Dat neemt niet weg dat ze de best niet deden maar het duurde allemaal TE lang. Jammer.

All you order tastes the same, salty salty salty. Kids running around and in between tables and it's often crowded with larger groups. Uniterested staff and poor quality food.Beste mijnheerDank voor uw tip. De Grieks / Mediterrane keuken is welliswaar wat zouter als de Noord Europese, maar TE is natuurlijk niet goed. Gezien een eerdere beoordeling qua zout van u over een ander Zuid Europees restaurant in de regio, is uw mening consitent.Kinderen horen of aan tafel of in de grote speelhoek te zijn; daar is de 21e onvoldoende op gelet. The restaurant is located in a nice 'koetshuis' (ie building belonging to a castle). Price/quality is excellent. The chef loves to play with flavours. So a number of small amuse bouche were presented, of which the 'interpretation of ceasar salad' was worthwile remembering. Difficulty with the amuse bouches was that the consistency was difficult to take it with your hands.As a starter i had the steak tartare. ALthough excellent taste, it was made too complicated. It consisted of steak tartare, chicorice, spelt, a flower, some young roots, pepper ring, salad, marinated colliflower, two types of mayonaise... Probably a little more simplicity would have helped.Second course was a nice fish dish, where simplicity was indeed applied with only a limited number of ingredients. Much more accessible, and of excellent quality. Top dish!Wine selected by the sommelier was excellent matching: a red spatburgunder fitting to both steak tartare and fish! Well done.So definitely worthwile visiting this restaurant. Also when travelling along the motorway, it is just a short hop in the city. Parking is no issue.Service staff is very friendly.

Always a nice place for a wide range of Tapas.Extensive assortment of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.Try out the early bird deal, from 15.00-19.00, could be 15.30 not to sure.Excellent service and dishes arrive at a nice tempo.Don't pig out too quick as you have plenty of time to enjoy most of them.Don't forget to leave a little room at the end for dessert .
