We usually have our family christmas get-together in this place. At that time they offer a special menu, which always awaits us with some new creative interpretations of regional german cuisine. The restaurant as well as the hotel section are newly renovated and charm you with tasty interiors. I cant say anything about the rooms as i never slept there. In summer, a beer garden can be found in the backyard. The restaurant is not very large, you might want to make a reservation before you visit. When the place is full, it can feel a bit crowded in the room as space is rather limited. Food however is great, many local varieties are available and everything comes visually appealing.Service is friendly and attentive, sometimes eventually struggles a little when the place is fully occupied.Definitely worth a visit! Consider that prices are comparably high, but in my eyes well worth it.
Have eaten here 4 times in the course of a 2 day seminar. The menu is quite small, but on one day they offered a special asparagus menu on top. Asparagus with sauce hollandaise and filet steak was very tasty. The other times they often had vegetarian options, which were creatively presented and also very good. The Sommelier is quite chatty but competent and friendly. All in all a nice and positive experience

We came across the restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. It has been newly renovated by the current owner with very tastefully decor. It keeps the charm of an old pub/restaurant and brings it up to date with fashionable wallpaper and fittings. The food is excellent - I had mash potato with a lamb stew and gravy. Simply delicious. My partner raved about her vegetarian dish. They also serve a local beer from made by a micro brewery, which is also very good. Restaurants in this part of the world often prioritise quantity over quality. Here it is more like the opposite. A main course will not leave you feeling that you never wish to eat again. However, my dish cost under 9 euros so those with a larger appetite should be able to afford a starter and dessert. If this restaurant were in London or New York booking would be essential. Will definitely return again and again.
Even considering the European laid-back approach to personal space when eating, this place can be difficult to get service at. Many times I've gone to their Biergarten and waited over 10 minutes just to be acknowledged, and 10 minutes or more for a Beer to arrive. When I went inside, I received good service and attention. The food was very good, portions a bit small (a couple of years ago), the beer served the perfect temperature.

Couldnât recommend this restaurant highly enough! The atmosphere is relaxed, great background music, the owners and the staff are friendly and made us feel welcome from our very first visit. The food is fantastic and the weekly specials are varied and delicious. The staff are very good at guiding you through the many choices of beer that they have on offer.
Where to eat German food in Mespelbrunn: The Best Restaurants and Bars
The restaurant of the Landhotel Klingerhof two miles away, our base, was closed and the receptionist recommended the Old Church in nearby Haibach, a pretty village in the valley below. It was almost full, and that at 7pm on a Sunday evening - a good sign! The place looked quite authentic, an impression re-inforced by the realisation that many locals were eating there. A friendly young waitress brought us a quite extensive menu in German only and we opted for a carafe of what we were told was a dry white housewine at a moderate price whilst we perused it. Neither of us found the wine dry and it was exchanged for another one without fuss, this time dry. I opted for the onion soup. My wife wanted a small tuna salad as a starter and sensibly suggested we should order our main course later, having seen the size of portions on other tables. My steaming soup arrived first, served in a big bowl; just as well it was so hot that I had to wait because it took some time for her salad to arrive. A starter salad? It was enormous, very fresh and delicious!Outgoing diners had to pass our table and we noticed that nearly all had a âdoggy bagâ â it seemed to be taken for granted that most would be defeated by the amount of food and cardboard boxes to take uneaten food home were provided as if it was a matter of course. Our first course would have been enough but I felt a bit guilty, ordered some more wine, then agreed with my wife that we would order a Wiener Schnitzel (her choice) to be shared between us. A large plate with two schnitzels, French fries and salad arrived. We just could not do the contents justice (the food tasted fine!) and managed to eat just about a quarter between us. I had to explain to the waitress that there was nothing wrong with the food â on the contrary â and she immediately asked if we wanted a box to take the rest with us, an offer we declined. For two sizable first courses, basket of bread, a gigantic main course and ¾ litres of a very acceptable house wine the bill came to 34 Euros!...This was quantity paired with quality at a give-away price!

Being literally on Main river, with excellent view and position, Pier 18 has all premises for a great experienced. Doubled by really good food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere, this restaurant is a great choice for an evening- regardless if business, romantic or food enjoying one

We were in the restaurant in the course of a meeting and later in a separate room as a group. In both cases, the service was very friendly and efficient, and the meals were superb. The friendly environment made us forget the time, and we ended our series of discussions around next morning. I recommend this place for various reasons, but most of all for the pleasant environment.

Muller's was actually our second choice for dinner the night we ate there. Our first choice was closed and happily we ended up at Muller's.Muller's is a small restaurant in the Spessart Forest, not far from Aschaffenburg. The setting is lovely and the interior décor is understated and elegant but not in the least bit intimidating. We received a warm welcome from the personable hostess and were seated at the last available table. The menu held another wonderful surprise... the prices, most entrees were in the 14-15 Euro range. I believe everything our party ordered was less than 16 E.The four of each had a different dish. Sauerbraten, Venison, Wiener Schnitzel w/Lemon and Schnitzel with Fresh Forest Mushrooms. The last was my order and it was superb. The schnitzel was meltingly tender and the Mushrooms were sublime...meaty and flavourful, tasting like they had been picked no more than a few hours before. All entrees were accompanied by a potato dish and salad.. Dessert was berries and cream, simple but delicious and again the berries tasted like they were freshly picked. Wine and beer were the beverages of choice and we finished with very good espresso. The service during the entire meal was efficient and unobtrusive and very professional.Muller's is a small , intimate restaurant and we were fortunate to get the last table since we had not booked. I would advise booking ahead especially on weekends. You will need a car to get there, but if you have one Muller's is well worth the trip. There is also a small hotel which I imagine is as well run as the restaurant.
