I'm now keeping a promise that I made some time ago. I've had a bad conscience all that time for not reviewing this restaurant that we walked past every day on our holiday but only visited on the last night. The food was exceptional and how often is it that a fish platter can actually fill you up? Mum Hilary and her daughter Rebecca were welcoming hosts and they were justifiably proud of Tasos and the cooking skills of his family from Kalymnos. Whilst I am sure things can happen in the mean time, I am relieved to see a recent post that fully endorses my feelings but in no way lessens my guilt!

Beautiful dining area outside in a little courtyard with a well and flowers. Waiter was very nice and the food was really good for the price. We wanted a traditional Greek dinner that that is what we got. Cheese in every course, so much so we had to choose three different starters - cheesy garlic bread, halloumi and cheesy stuffed mushrooms. Would be lying if I said I could remember the names of the mains but they tasted good. Was too full for a desert but for 45 euros a must go to if you are staying near Kardamena and looking for somewhere to eat.

I love the Malibu and have been coming here for 19 years. George and Tass (the owners) upgrade it every year. I walk here from the other side of the village (a fair distance) as the service and friendship is second to none. I highly recommend the Malibu

Visited this quaint Greek restaurant, hidden off main street. Staff very attentive and friendly. Not too busy so need to book and Sunday evening. Ordered drinks, then waited to give our food order. First request was not available so ordered another dish, not available, so had to go with choice number 4! If not ordered drinks I would have left this place.

Sagittarius Restaurant is open from early May until mid October. We serve traditional Greek dishes, pizza, pasta. International dishes, fish, grills and a small choice of Indian style curry. We offer a large dessert menu, cocktails, kids menu, vegetarian
After checking Trip Advisor and seeing so many good reviews, we decided to visit for our evening meal. We were welcomed into the restaurant and shown to our table. Our order was taken efficiently and our food arrived in a timely manner. The food was adequate but nothing to rave about. Once we finished our food, a waiter immediately came over to see to my daughter and ask would she like her ice cream (Part of a meal deal). This was brought straight over and then we were left to sit there. We waited. And waited. And waited.... 30 minutes later we gave up and decided not to have dessert. We then took up the task of trying to get someoneâs attention to ask for the bill. 10 minutes later..... it arrived. We gave up waiting for someone to collect the money and paid on our way out. We will not be returning.
