Find out what International restaurants to try in Martinique. This Gallic toehold in the Caribbean exudes a distinctly French air, enticingly spiced up by West Indian warmth. Local culture and cuisine combine both influences. The stylish isle is dominated by Mount Pelee, which destroyed the city of St. Pierre in 1902. Black sand beaches and rainforests are found in the north, with yet more beautiful sands to the south. Sights include La Pagerie, birthplace of Napoleon's Empress Josephine, and Diamond Rock, a 600-foot pinnacle, once registered as a British warship.

Table d'hôtes sur la terrasse de la résidence située au 10 lotissement panoramique. Petite structure de quelques tables tenues par le chef et propriétaire Willy avec sa devise SOYEZ RECUS EN AMIS.
We went there on our last evening because of the good reviews. it has only four tables and without tripadvisor we wouldn't have found it.we weren't disappointet.we were the only guests.the chef was very friendly and explained everything to us.Our menu was delicous and we loved every course.especially âfondant chocolateâwas the best we had in our live.if it haven't been our last day,we would have retourned. It was not cheap but absolutely worth it's price. Thanks for everything.Hello Mella bonjour,Je vous remercie pour votre super avis . J'ai passé un merveilleux moment en votre compagnie, ce fut très convivial et enrichissant avec votre charmant couple.Je vous souhaite bonne continuation et à bientôt.CordialementWilly

We walked in at 7.30, the only people in the restaurant and my husband was itching to leave but so glad we didn't. Excellent excellent dinner. I had lamb, the husband had risotto and daughter had vegetarian option, sides were local vegetables. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. The chef is very talented. When we left at 9.30, several couples had joined us. Dessert was artisanal ice-cream (coconut and basil were superb), creme brulee and profiterole. All fabulous. Small wine list but good and overall value for money considering how great the food was. The service was also highly attentive with a charming young man from Colombia. Don't miss this place, well worth the detour.

Piment Sucré is hidden away at the very end of Californie industrial area in Le Lamentin. Like a couple of restaurants nearby. Itâs a small place with colorful decoration and cozy atmosphere. Servers are efficient and friendly. Dishes are unpretentious but fair and light. For my last visit I ate a cream of turban squash, a roast of red drum with sweet potato fries and a coconut flan. All successful recipes of Creole cuisine.
