Very good prices in this restaurant, nearly half price cheaper than the ones further down the wharf. Absolutely delicious and fresh seafood and a very prompt and polite service. We loved our lunch and would highly recommend the calamari! So tender and not greasy at all. Well done team at Stavros.

Menu contains a wide variety of Greek specialities and fresh fish. Service was fast to seat us and some of our dishes came quickly came out all at once and others sat waiting for their meal to arrive. They need to do a better job with pacing. We were inundated by yellow jackets and when we finally gave up and tried to change tables, the server insisted we stay as he went back to bring a smoky cup of something to the table to discourage the bees. The bees did leave us alone then, but we had to finish our meals with acrid smoke in our faces to keep the bees at bay. Took forever to get our check. Unfortunately the food was tasty but the atmosphere detracted significantly from the experience.First of all thank you for your review. Your dishes may came earlier than others because they were already cooked like Greek cuisine. As for the food of other customers we don't have any complain, all these years. Now about yellow jackets the server insist not to change the table because my friend the matter wasn't your table but your food. If had choose to have sea food or fish, it is normal that you will have yellow jackets around you in any table. So we offer to you this "cup" which is just Greek coffee, to help you finish your meal. If you had a problem with the smell it is not our problem, and for sure we make the best to enjoy your meal.

We found this place through TripAdvisor looking for something different to Greek food and it did not dissapont us. We order the beef curry and spring rolls which were really tasty. Also, the place is nice and the owner was very thoughtful.

Symposium Cafe

I stopped by Symposium for a snack, late one afternoon. The garden terrace was full and I didn't want to sit inside but luckily, they had a single table at the top of the stairs that was just waiting for me. I ordered a frappé (good) and their version of a club sandwich, which for some reason, I thought was going to be much smaller. Nope, it was a full-on, proper club sandwich complete with a mountain of chips. I was able to eat half but the kindly waitress happily gave me a bag so that I could pack the rest to go. The club was great and very filling. I really enjoyed this little café and could see myself enjoying daily morning coffees there, if I lived in Parikia!
