Things to do in Manta
We had an unexpected stay in the manta host and was surprised to find the restaurant open so late. The food was good, not the best but good. The service however was excellent! We had the breakfast buffet the next morning and it was amazing! Such an array of amazing food. The breakfast came with our stay but we would gladly go back and pay for the breakfast

We went on a date night, first the staff here are really nice, we asked for an entree the shrimps and a crab roll, I actually wanted to eat sushi but for some reason the waiter said they didnât have sushi before he said they did have sushi so that was kind of weird cuz I saw some people having sushi (odd), the crab rolls with the Thai sauce wasnât my favorite it had tiny pieces of shells so that kind of ruined the dish, as my main dish I had the filet Mignon with tequila and pesto risotto, and it was waaaaaay too salty, the meat was good but the risotto gosh i like salty food, but this was way too much my boyfriend had chicken and it was way better than mine dish , as for the dessert we had a pistachio dessert it was really good I think out of everything we had the best was the dessert, the food took way too long and we asked several times for bread cuz we were so hungry and the food was taking ages, I drank a glass of wine but they brought me the glass already filled so never got the chance to see if it was actually the wine I asked for. The staff should be more careful cuz they were on their phones and sitting on the bar spots what I think itâs not something a waitress or waiter should do.There were a few dirty spots near where we were seated

A group of 6 went here for supper and a quiet conversation. Immediately shown to a spacious table and an English speaking waiter attended to our every need. Explained the menu well and we were served all meals very quickly. Other patrons were inside as well enjoying their meals and no one was disturbed throughout the meal. Food was as advertised and no disappointments were found by all 6 meals. Great food at really good prices. I do recommend to try.
Estragón Restaurant & Bar offers delicious and juicy smoked and roasted Barrel meats, unique in the city, just tasting them you will live the experience of its flavor. We also have international and national dishes in seafood and fish, sandwiches and hamb
I moved here 6 months ago and have done the tour of restaurants and this is hands down, the best option. Food is amazing and the staff is wonderful. Go see Jose who works the bar/waits tables! He is an awesome guy that will give you the service you expect from a top notch restaurant. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would.
Nice restaurant, located in residential area of ââManta. We have different types of food: cuts of beef, seafood, pork, chicken and pasta
Excelente lugar. . Una muy buena comida ... en el mejor lugar de la cuidad .. yo lo recomiendo para que visiten el lugar
Chanton Chanton at the large shopping mall del Pacifico has a nice terrace, serves drinks including craft beers (bottle) and a wide menu of American food with a local twist.

Parrillada / Grill restaurante.
My wife and I ventured here in order to try something new as opposed to our Manta favorites. Our dinner was good but not spectacular. I would recommend Palmeiras if you are in Manta for an extended period and would like some variety. However, if you are here for a brief stay, there are better options. Palmeiras probably deserves its TripAdvisor ranking just below Manta's top restaurants. The toasted bread was a nice starter and the pesto and aji that were served along with it were both very good. I ordered the pork ribs and they were very flavorful. I also enjoyed the accompanying shredded cabbage, carrot and cucumber salad. The yucca fries were fresh and perfectly fried. My wife's grilled shrimp (along with the same salad and fries) were not nearly as good. In an area were shrimp are very plentiful, these were relatively small and appeared more sautéed than grilled. The house red wine was very fruity with a slight taste of soap and was undrinkable. Service was very attentive and friendly. For a basic meal it was good but a little pricey for the simple preparation. The atmosphere was nice with all the tables being outside. There are two sides to the restaurant. To the left of the entrance is a brightly lit and somewhat sterile seating area while to the right there is a more dimly lit and relaxing garden area. I have heard some people complain about the road noise but the adjacent road is currently closed for construction and the environment was very relaxing on our visit.
