Reviews on International food in Manchester, England, United Kingdom. Famed for its soccer team and music scene, which has produced the likes of the Smiths and Oasis, this center for sports and the arts is a down-to-earth and friendly city. The so-called Capital of the North has overcome industrial decline, bombing (in WWII and by the IRA) to become a confident and cosmopolitan city of well over two million. It is well served by a bus and light rail network. Top attractions include the Lowry art complex, arcade Affleck's Palace and Canal Street gay village.

No.4 Dine and Wine opened in 2005 and has gone from strength to strength with a huge amount of regular customers from Didsbury and surrounding areas.Still owned and managed by Paul & Nina Burton who take part in the day to day running of the restaurant wi
A meal for seven friends here was a delight. The service was friendly but professional, and the ambience of the low-ceilinged intimate dining room made it feel more like you were eating in someone's home than in commercial establishment. Dishes were nicely presented and well executed and the emphasis on seasonal produce was clear, although several of us felt that there was a lack of seasoning -a bit more salt would have made the dishes 'sing'. There was also a distinct lack of carbohydrate: a tiny square of dauphinoise potato was the sum of it. This did mean we all had room for the delicious desserts, with the sticky toffee pudding matching the accolade at the Lime Tree last year as 'joint best ever'. This was a lovely meal, and I'd be more than happy to return -if only to work my was through the amazing dessert selection.

It's more than the sloping floors, more than the dreamy tile, more than the friendly staff and charming interior. It's the vibe that cannot be replaced or replicated. I hope it never changes.Hi Chelsea,Thanks for your great review, it makes us smile.

The Masons Restaurant Bar was recommended to us yesterday for drinks and cocktails. What a great recommendation, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. The bar is small but has a fabulous atmosphere and they make an amazing Pornstar Martini!!

Evelyn's is a Manchester favourite. The neighbourhood restaurant with global influence serves breakfast through to dinner with coffee and drinks to compliment. The Daisy cocktail and bar is open from Thursday to Saturday evenings. Menus and booking option
Loved this place but there was no proper ventilation and the kitchen is open!! We left smelling of food...not in a good way. Our server was great and our meals yummy! A tad overpriced, which wouldnât have bothered me if I didnât leave smelling like a line chef!
