The natural ambience in the midst of peaceful surroundings, extremely courteous customer service, decent food item choices, great taste, reasonable pricing with an overall good value for money are the key reasons for my rating. Certainly would very highly recommend.

I visited with local friends yesterday evening and had the best meal I had during a full week in Livingstone. Starters: Halloumi and snails, Mains: The best sirloin steak. Halloumi and snails were the best I have eaten anywhere in the world and you would be hard pressed to find better steak in the best restaurants in London. Cooked to perfection and with delicious local vegetable (grown on site). Trevor and Anita support local farmers and producers and their restaurant is welcoming and relaxed. The Old Farmhouse is a gem, offering delicious food at amazingly good prices. You would be missing out if you didn't visit during your stay.

We had a wonderful evening on the train as the first activity of a conference that we were attending. I am a bit of a train fanatic so it was probably even more interesting for me. The information from the guide was great (although we had trouble hearing due to the loud people from the Tuack tour group behind us who kept talking). This is one of the must do activities while in Livingstone.
