It's located in a shopping plaza next to the Best Western El Sitio where I was staying. Plenty of secure parking. It's akin to an American Chili's or TGIFriday's.Ate dinner with a group of four on a Saturday night about 6pm. We were the only people there until about 8pm so we got the full attention of the young wait staff. We had cocktails (all excellent) and a variety of dishes. The food arrived a bit later than anticipated because we were the only diners but portions were large and attractively presented. It has an elevated stage for live music and a large dance floor. What was odd was that I was staying in Liberia for about a week and found the restaurant closed on a Monday and a Sunday night. And not open for lunch during the week.
Buena atención, se come bien y a precios accesibles.En general una buena opción para almorzar o tomar un café en la tarde. Los postres son deliciosos.
The wonderful cocktail I drank here still smacks my lips. Also, the charming atmosphere amidst numerous elite families and couples is something worth-remembering.

My husband and I travel to Guanacaste about three times a year - we love it there! This little restaurant is located next door to our favorite souvenir store - La Gran Nicoya Souvenir. The restaurant serves authentic Costa Rican food - absolutely delicious! And their fruit drinks are so good and so refreshing! This is a great place to stop, do some shopping, :-) and have a delicious meal. AND, it's air-conditioned!! Also great prices!Ken and Jan MatsudaTorrance, CA
Sr. Patacon is a family owned popular restaurant. We have taken the best locally grown Costa Rican plantain, prepared by our chefs. To bring out the best flavor in preparing Patacone dishes. Daily we select the best produce, choice meats, locally caught se
We were driving from Liberia Airport to Town and feeling hungry, swung into this restaurant couple of miles from the airport. We thought it might be one of those tourist traps but to our surprise, we had the best dinner in Liberia that night. The fajitas and fish dishes were excellent but the fish ceviches was one of the best Iâve eaten. All the small bowls of beans and guacamole were made from plantains and they have generous portions of patacones (plantain croquettes)! The service was excellent and they kept the place open after closing until we were done. We will try to eat here again !

We are a family restaurant, ran by my mom(manager) and I (chef). We use traditional french, italian, thai, and peruvian techniques, with local produce and flavors. We are always learning, please share your comments with us.
Ordered starters as mains as portion sizes in Costa are a bit to much for me - Ceviche and bruscheta - both delicious. The rest of the group chose mains and all dishes were great. Wonderful fresh juices especially the lemonade and basil. Nice change to sit on really relaxing comfy chairs. Good value for money and spotless toilets.

Those were my husband's exact words! I couldn't believe how pleased all our friends were as we accidentally stumbled on to this small but accommodating spot. Exhausted from a day of running around and shopping in the city, we happened upon El Patio. First we all ordered a different flavored smoothie and they were at a good price, huge and delicious! The service was relaxed and not hurried but not slow either. The food again was a fair price for a good portion and very flavorful. Well, you know my husband's opinion, best fish he's ever had! Check it out if your off shopping in the city. If your not familiar driving in Liberia, try downloading first the app Map.me and it should help you find all your shopping needs! Pura Vida!

We read the reviews and thus made our decision to have lunch here before dropping friends off at a nearby hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was good with a nice presentation. In fact, we returned again today for lunch ordering the portobello sandwich both times. Roll fresh and filled with yummy vegetables. It takes time to get your food so donât stop if you are in a hurry. Also, the air conditioner wasnât working on one side of the restaurant so our first visit was a warm one. If we return to this beautiful country, we will start and finish our visit with a stop at the Green House, located close to the airport and car rental offices.

We had a mixed meat plate of grilled chicken and beef. It came with french fries and vegetables. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. There was enough on the plate for me and my husband, and enough to take home for another meal. The service was very good. I especially like the decor that gave me that "big city" feel like New York of Chicago. I felt transcended. The restaurant offers live music many nights and you should check to see when they do and join in.Dear Shirley,Greetings from Liberia Social! I will share your comments with our team which i am sure they will be very happy to hear that you enjoyed the service, the food, and the ambiance we offered. Hope our paths will cross again. We were a family of 4 and Monique and Andre were fantastic hosts that provided a unique dining experience in their beautiful home! The food experience ranged from black caviar on white chocolate to a quail egg on caramelized onions. They also offered many different types of wine that paired nicely with each meal. We all left full and very satisfied! I would highly recommend this if you are looking to try different foods outside of the typical Costa Rican seafood. We had a great time!
