Find out what International restaurants to try in Lausanne. Lausanne was once an intellectual capital, attracting great thinkers such as Rousseau and Voltaire. Today it is a haven for those who love water skiing, swimming and sailing. The International Olympic Committee is even headquartered here. The town's history is evident, though, in its medieval cathedral, the museums of the Palais de Rumine, and Ouchy, the port where Lord Byron wrote "The Prisoner of Chillon" and the Treaty of Lausanne was ratified. For great views, hike up to the Signal de Sauvabelin.

The TOM Café is a great place to relax and refuel in a bright, airy setting, surrounded by the remarkable history of the Olympic Games. The TOM Café is on the top floor of the Olympic Museum. Its contemporary, colorful décor has a distinctly sporty theme.
It's a place to try for any occasion, whether you are a group or even if you are alone. It's a place where you feel good and where you can enjoy a lot.The view is stunning, the staff are nice (maybe cold-ish) and the buffet offers a great variety of meals.

Prices are a little bit high here, but you are paying a lot for the view.Food is totally not bad - I enjoyed it, it just was not exceptional.Filet du perche was good, but just...sparse....Gazpacho the same - OK, but small. Same with the other 2 dishes we had!Go to Lacustre, its better, small menu, different less "fancy" food but same view, and more fun, and food tastes better!

Veganopolis Café, le premier take-away 100% vegan de Lausanne ! Burgers, plats du jours, desserts, boissons..
I loved the idea of a nice little vegan place, with a passionate team and a super sincere approach. The menu is simple, but you can feel everything is made with love! I had a "green" burger that was fabulous, juicy and garnished with delicious fixings, + an amazing cocoa-banana-peanut smoothie. Also: the staff is super friendly + you can have lunch sitting on the lawn in the nearby park (100m). Definitely a place to check out!

After an excellent experience with my wife, some 6 months ago, I chose this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's B.Day. All ran smoothly and it was perfect.Matter of taste but I love the ambiance, both simple and sophisticated. The restaurant is small and its human size reflects on the people. Feels cozy and at home.Food was outstanding. I like the menu which is quite original, with a touch of not seen anywhere else. The owners, a young couple, come and greet clients. Really nice. I didnt try the wine as I am on diet but those who did found it original and remarkable.I believe that I'll make this place one of my favourites when in Lausanne's region. Unconditionally recommend once again!

I am compelled to write this negative review due to the irresponsible behavior of the chief in regards to its customers' health. Indeed, I was glad to see tonka bean ice cream on the menu. Tonka bean has a fantastic flavor but is forbidden in many countries as a food flavouring agent due to its coumarin content (up to 3,5%). An overdose of coumarin has hepatoxic and teratogenic effects and can lead to death. However adequate dosage is what matters and gladly Switzerland legislation doesn't blindly prohibits plants but works on an autocontrol base. We love creativity and taking calculated risks. But that is good as long as producers behavior is competent and responsible which was not the case in this restaurant. I warned twice that the current dosage is dangerously close or above safety recommendations to no avail. The EU limits coumarin to 10mg/l in beverages and of 0,1mg/kg bodyweight for humans. The chief said he uses 1 bean for 1l of ice cream. 1 bean= up to 2g= 70mg coumarin in 1l=0,13mg for a 55kg female for a small portion of ice cream. We advised to precautionarily half the dosage and our recommendations was absolutely not taken seriously, thus our warning by informing clients through tripadvisor. I hope they will keep tonka on the menu to the right dosage and next time show openess to receive scientific recommendations from experts rather than dismiss them.

We went here for lunch and we both opted for a beef dish. I had the médaillons and my partner chose the XLsteak. The meat was cooked according to our wishes and was tender and good. The restaurant was full (luckily I had booked a table) so was quite noisy. The service was good and quick.

Our daughter and her family live in Pully and this has been one of their favorite restaurants and has become one of ours as well. The food is exceptional and the artistry of presentation only adds to that. We arrived early for a drink in the bar area and the bar tender greeted us and offered to see if a table was available for our party of 6. She managed on a very busy night to have use seated at a table in front of the glassed in kitchen and in an airconditioned part of the restaurant on a very warm July evening. As in our prior experiences, the food, wine, service and wait staff were superb. We will definitely will return.
