Restaurante Palacio Marino

We were looking for a place to watch football on a Sunday, and Palacio Marino was close to our hotel, and had "Sports Bar" on the outside. It was true, it had a tv, and they were happy to change the channel to the football game, but it is not your average sports bar! Palacio Marino is an excellent restaurant, beautifully appointed, with amazing food. I had the Tuna Carpaccio, and my husband had the chicken cordon blu. The wine was excellent, the service professional. We were pleasantly surprised. I would highly recommend it!

SeaSide Restaurant

Sea Side bar wine & grill restaurant is Mediterranean/International style cuisine overlooking the most stunning view of the entire bay of La Paz next to a white sandy beach and crystal waters. You can sip a magical margarita or a nice cold beer at the bar.

Linen table clothes. Friendly staff. This restaurant presents like a 5-star but the food falls below average with little taste. Started with a charcuterie board that featured lunch meat and no goat cheese (which is produced locally). That was $40 U.S. $$$$. The Caesar salad was presented with greens tossed in olive oil. We enjoyed ourselves and our bottle of wine but when leaving the hostess had her baby son sitting on the counter where the chef places the plated meals. This is a view with cocktails only place until they figure out what status of restaurant they would like to become.

Club de Playa at Costa Baja Resort

What a great setting. The Beach Club pool area was absolutely wonderful. There were a variety of different places to lounge. We used the hot tub a lot. The food and drinks are decent and reasonably priced. The staff is attentive and friendly. There are two tennis courts which were in good shape. There are a handful of restaurants around the marina which is nice. Also there's a free shuttle that goes into town about every hour so you don't need to completely rely on cabs. The resort is a great value for the money. We were very pleased with our stay.

We enjoyed three dining experiences at Steinbeck's during our stay at CostaBaja, and each visit was simply top notch. The staff are all attentive and charming, the menu terrific and the food absolutely fabulous.Javier waited our table on two occasions and he is one of best waiters we've ever had the pleasure of spending an evening with. His recommendations on dishes and wine were spot on...we didn't once regret taking his advice. Be sure to have the octopus ceviche...I couldn't get enough!

We have been 2 times to this place and it is just amazing. They are really friendly and attentive and they serve really good food and drinks - all organic. You should try something with rabbit - they grow them on their own farm. The Fettucine with rabbit Ragout are amazing!

Capuchino

Capuchino is the perfect place to enjoy a tasty meal from breakfast to dinner and have a good time. It has a relaxing atmosphere and a great variety of vegetarian dishes, tasty coffee and you can even enjoy craft beer and mezcal.

We went in on two consecutive nights. First night split a sampler platter which had the falafel two ways (pita and tacos), mini-burger, guacamole, and empanadas. Across the board, all of that was delicious. Second night we got pasta -- the pesto and the alfredo. The pesto was outstanding, the alfredo was diasappointing -- kind of gooey and heavy, not much flavor. (I think they may be using cream cheese in it?) The limonadas are quite good, and you can spike them with mezcal if you want, which was delicious.

Nice selection of entrees and salads. We chose a wonderful green salad with avocado, cashews, and goat cheese. Generous portion and very tasty. Our entree was a delectable chicken almond mole served with rice, crispy plantain and veggies. So savory and satisfying. Polite, attentive sstaff in a friendly, open atmosphere. Highly recommended
