This is the most popular (and en vogue) restaurant in Tunis now. It serves a French-Italian-Tunisian cuisine. La Closerie's food is delicious, and it's excellent for people watching (particularly of the Tunisian jet-set).
A unique place, vibrant with the jet setters, and an elite of young (and less young) people. The karaoke night is always packed from 10pm (even on weekdays)

Nice rooftop restaurant in the center of La Marsa. The view is very nice. The prices are a little high if you compare to Tunisia but very ok. The service is good and they serve a lot of different kind of food, try the Maklob.
It's the only place nearby the "lac" with alcohol therefore though the food is quite average it's worthy to have a cold beer.

This sandwich restaurant belongs to yet an other Tunisian prince. After the independence, the Tunisian royal family was expropriated of all its belongings and all princes found themselves looking for work. One of them opened this restaurant. I have heard about this place for a long time and I never got the chance to visit.I ordered a grilled liver sandwich which was good.I also ordered plat Tunisien ( a mix of salads an egg and Tuna). I ended up with extra food that I saved for dinner.Food was good.I will be visiting again to try their brik. The had seating outside. It happened the weather was good.I feel the service was good and I was well treated. I asked for my egg to be hard and I asked for a to go container, staff tried to accommodate me as much as they could.
