Reviews on International food in La Gomera, Spain. One of the seven Canary Islands, sun-drenched Gomera is one of the less visited of this Atlantic archipelago. Offering the perfect escape, Gomera's attractions include dramatic beaches, trails through tropical mountain scenery and misty rainforest. Hike the mysterious Garajonay National Park or mountainous Cumbre de Chijere. Soak up the sun in scenic Valle Gran Rey or on Puerto de Santiago's pretty beach. Popular with the yachting crowd, Gomera is reached by air or ferry from the other Canaries.

Escapando de locales para guiris, cenamos en la terraza genial. Verduras asadas y entre los pescados frescos nos decidimos por un pescado de roca que nos prepararon a la espalda. Presentado con ensalada y papas arrugadas. 4 consumiciones. Pagamos poco más de 30â¬. Servicio atento, cocina a la vista, limpieza. Repetiremos!

Hello my friends. Since the last 6 months we have been changing things around. Focusing first inside to show a new face with the food, service, establishment and have an overall better customer experience. Under the hood mods takes time but we are ready t
Food ok, service below par,not efficient,no smile! So ONLY visited once and went next door! Food very average, disappointed
Very much recommended. We visited in a part of 11 and they opened early at 18:30 for us local gringos. Good choice of fish and meat dishes from this Andalusian chef. So pleased to now have a good restaurant in these rural parts.

Open since February 2019, I will first thank those who came to discover my cuisine and share with me for a few moments. Thanks also to you who have left such lovely comments here, it always comforts me even after almost 20 years in this very difficult pro
Something very different for Gomera and all the better for it. Freshly made salads, galettes, burgers and crepes all with french flair but local ingredients - except the french flour and sugar! Oh, and some french wine. Plenty of vegetarian choice too. We had delicious galettes and simple but gorgeous sugar crepes. Roger is great fun and a thoughtful host. A wonderful addition to the restaurants in San Sebastián. Thank you two for this lovely comment. From next month you will discover new proposals of dishes mixing French cuisine on the island of La Gomera. See you soon, Roger and Chocolate

Canario , Mediterráneo y tradicional con productos de las islas y a ser posibles gomeros de temporada
We had an excellent meal here, among others a wonderful steamed octopus. Desserts definitely deserve a mention - especially the specialty of the house. One star less is only due to the fact that the waiter (or an owner?) told one client to go outside and clean her shoes. It is a fact that her shoes were a bit muddy, looking like after a hike, but I didnât find it too polite.

The expectation were pretty high, we had read some reviews about this place and we decided to go and give it a try.Every bite was magnificent. Good presentation, nice atmosphere (inside or outside), interesting proposals, really tasty dishes...There is a resume of the experience:1). Tuna Tataki: My previous experience with tatakis had been not so satisfied. People used to say a good tataki is magnificent, but I would disagree on that. Well; this time, tataki was perfect. It has all I ever asked. It was a little cooked so you can see the different color to the inward. It comes with two sauces aside just in case youâd like to try, and with some algae salad. The feeling in your mouth was indescriptible. Soft, tender, perfect fission between the tuna and the sauces with sesame seeds... wow.... in a word: fascinating 2). Ceviche: Although I had tried a few different ceviches. Every time I have the chance I like to try different versions of it. I must say this was one of my favorites. Very original, using exotic fruits and foam on it. It has the right acidity and the crunchy side with fried banana... fantastic proposal.3). Smoked prawns: this was a really original dish. At first sight it doesnât seem any novel. They took an apparently simple dish and make it really unique with a hint of smoke on it. Once they uncovered the lid you notice the bouquet, and when you put the good into your mouth, you get yourself seduced with the unusual taste.Wonderfully combined. Simple and original.

Really delicious and tasty food. The starter was not warm enough and took 35 min to be served. The main course took 1h 15min from placing the order to being on the table. The serving was very small, we left feeling hungry. Cozy ambience but a bit chilly (only outdoor seating). They provide blankets but some sort of heating would be nice.Recommend booking table in advance.

After all the brilliant reviews, we expected something really special. It wasn't that great. We went for the Gambas con ajillo (large prawns, but over-cooked and swimming with oil), papas bravas (OK), surf & turf (OK), land & sea (ravioli under-cooked and thick). With Uva Pirata wine, which was nice,
