Reviews on International food in Kiev, Ukraine. Having survived the Mongol Empire, WWII, Chernobyl, and Soviet rule, Kiev is the proud capital of the Ukraine. Filled with theaters, museums, religious sites, modern buildings and ancient ruins, the city of Kiev is the center of Ukrainian culture. The Monastery of the Caves, founded in 1015, and Saint Sophia Cathedral, founded in 1037, are both World Heritage Sites. The Museum of the Great Patriotic War, topped by the massive Motherland Statue, provides gorgeous views of the city below.

The idea is to open a social restaurant in Kyiv in an Urban Space format which will become a successful example of uniting a community around a common cause. What makes Urban Space unique is that 80% of the restaurant profit will be reinvested in social p
This is a top place in Kyiv. First - it's located 5 min from Maidan - the main square, so really convenient. The restaurant has a stylish design with thoughtful details, e.g. their chairs are made of recycled plastic. There are several zones which fit for different occasions, either a business lunch or a dinner for two or a friends meeting. The food is great, they have modern cuisine with Ukrainian flavor. I absolutely recommend their potato dumplings, syrniki, sea buckthorn tea, and doppio coffee. But what makes this place a 5star restaurant is details, e.g. they have spare diapers in the toilet next to the baby changing table. Gosh, this thing saved our life once! Also, there is a separate child feeding room and on weekends they invite a nanny (!) to entertain kids while you're eating. Absolutely recommend, as this is one of the most comfortable and well-thought modern restaurants in Kyiv. p.s. finally, what I also find very cool is the idea behind the place. It's called Urban Space because they give 80% of their profits on different city development projects, also there are some cultural and social events that happen in the restaurant. Really cool concept.

Nice beer, too bad there's no dark beer in the summer. Friendly waitresses, with enough English skills to get by. English menus. nice music, lots of TVs for watching sports. Very big food portions. The food itself is typical bar food and typical bar food quality.

Friendliest cafe in Kiev designed for youth! Tasty affordable food, cheap bar, friendly waiters, board games, cozy atmosphere - everything to make you feel at home.
This place is a bit off the beaten track, yet just a few steps from the old town main square. Yes they do serve a bit of international cuisine but going for the local specialties is a much better choice. Please try borscht, it's really good. A heart warming winter food. Skip if you're a vegetarian. Potato fritters with mushrooms are delicious when spiced up. And then there's a seitan burger... Serious local food at the prices that won't break a bank. Big thumbs up!

"If you want to understand the human, sit down at the same table" always said in my big Georgian family. We love Georgian traditional cuisine, wine and laugh. Thatâs why I, Manana, linked my live with delicious food. So come to my kitchen and will divide
This evidently popular Georgian restaurant is located across the square from where I was staying at the Ibis Central Railway Station Hotel. I decided to eat here one evening on the strength of the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. I was not disappointed. The waiting staff were attentive and helpful. Being unfamiliar with Georgian cuisine, I was a little overwhelmed by the choices on the menu so the young waiter kindly (and patiently) guided me through it and recommended some dishes I could try. He spoke good English and I was very happy with his suggestions. It's a modern, comfortable and clean restaurant with a good atmosphere. Prices were pretty reasonable and they accept credit cards (note that you get separate bills for the food and alcoholic drinks).

We enjoyed a fantastic three-course meal here at Mama Manana for exceptionally good value, with amazing table service and, most importantly, terrifically tasty food. Our mains were truly aromatic and flavoursome, freshly prepared and nothing was left unfinished. We can not recommend this restaurant enough!
