âBack to the rootsâ â We offer local and seasonal products. The stylish Inn with its charming niches preserves Tyrolean tradition.
There are nice and cozy dining rooms if the weather is cold or wet. At good weather the outside garden terrace can hardly be topped. The viwe is just magnificent. At the same time you enjoy excellent regional cooking. The service is friendly, the kitchen sometime a bit slow.

Was only once there, but am impressed. I bought his recipe book at once as the chef is really knowledgeable, which I realized when studying it. I spoke with him, and his approach to cooking is appealing. Food is honest and good.

As other reviewers have said - don't be put off by the location in a tennis club...it's a charming little restaurant and the food is excellent. We were a group of 2 families (8 people with young children) with an hour to kill at the airport at lunchtime. It was a 5 minute walk to the restaurant, where we sat outside in the sun on a terrace looking out onto the mountains. We told the staff we only had 45 minutes to eat and go and they served up a delicious and fresh set of meals. Excellent salads for those who like them. Highly recommended if you're near the airport with time and don't want to eat rubbish.

Had a great meal here with my family. I was lucky to be here during asparagus season; a whole page of the menu is dedicated to this wonderful spring vegetable. Otherwise the menu is very extensive, with just about anything you can think of. We had a very good Wiener schnitzel and roast beef too. My sea bream with asparagus was wonderful. Staff is very friendly and super efficient. Great and inexpensive house wines too. Highly recommended. Many thanks for your nice feedback!

We arrived at our hotel in the early evening after the Orient Express ride from Venice. The receptionist suggested a new restaurant a few doors down that had opened the week before - she had eaten there and enjoyed what she ordered so, it was close and convenient of we went. Early days for a new restaurant - to be honest we werenât over optimistic but soon sheâd led in to the warm, friendly environment. It was very pleasant and although the menu was in German we managed with the help of the locals at the next table and the owners who were so enthusiastic that our expectations increased. There was nothing that we were served that we didnât enjoy. Presentation was fabulous, the flavours were fabulous. All the food was imaginative, freshly cooked and tasty. We rarely have three courses but such was the menu that we just had to try the third course (desserts). We enjoyed the experience so much that we returned on our final night to eat and say thank you to the two owners. We all reall y do hope that they make a success of this project and that we will return to the wonderful city of Innsbruck in the near future. Hopefully the locals will support Essen and Kulter going forward. Many thanks and all the best for the future. Barry, Gwen, Sue and Francis.

We visited this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and open late. The reviews looked good so it seemed like an excellent choice. The service was extremely fast by European standards, which we appreciated. This is an extremely fine dining establishment and priced accordingly. Dinner cost more than our hotel room most nights on this trip. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious. The timing of service could not have been better. We had salads, trout, and gnocchi. With a bottle of white Austrian wine and two bottles of water, it was over 100⬠before tip. I thought it was worth it. I think that says it all.
