The restaurant is decorated either from the 70's or they just never updated it. The menu has many good selections but none of them were good. My sauerbrauten was smothered in gravy that wasn't to tasty. The beef goulash could have been out of the can and same with the cream of mushroom soup. The chicken paprikash was missing something. Finally the apple strudel, had the top of it, then some brown mushed up stuff and like 3 Apple pies for a 6 in slice. The service was ok. The area were it is located is not desirable at all. Lock your car and hope you have tires on your return. Needless to say don't bother, make your own, it will be better then this.

Our family went to celebrate a special occasion. We were seated outside in a very makeshift patio. It was a cold, rainy day, and the wind was blowing through the sides and of the plastic sheets hanging as outside âwalls.â No more ne thought to tape them done until we suggested it as we were reallyfreezing. Our table was squeezed into a small platform with a tricky step down. The food was good, but we didnât linger too long because of our physical discomfort. We asked twice for bread and never got it. Very disappointing.I am disheartened about your experience and glad your food was good. Unfortunately Mother Nature did not cooperate with the day. During the spring / summer season the side panels are removed. The restaurant confirmed all reservations in advance mentioning the forecast would call for 100% rain and high winds if sitting in our patio. The restaurant staff made everything possible to accommodate with overhead lamp heaters and fire towers making the environment comfortable for outdoors dining as much as we could. The café is fairly quiet and very easily accessible from rt 130.The food choices are very good and extensive, however I thought the prices were a bit higher than I would like to pay for lunch. I would go back again but only for special lunches but not a daily place to go.

Acacia is in Lawrenceville, NJ and across the main street from the well-regarded Lawrenceville School. Dining in the summer when school is on break gives the restaurant a relaxed, quiet and reseeved atmosphere. The menu is small but filled with exciting appetizers, salads, and entrees. We enjoyed the beet salad, crabcakes, porkchop and chocolate trifle. Prices are in the $20's and $30's for entrees. No wine list but you can bring your own bottles. Service was attentive.
