We went to this café in the evening for it's amazing views over the causeway and Mouse Island. Also, spectacular views of the planes coming in to land!So the excellent food we were served was a pleasant surprise! We went there twice and each time the food was excellently cooked and tasty. The service was very good and the prices very reasonable. Well done Café Kanoni.

When tradition meets quality we have an amazing result in the restaurant - Taverna of CAPTAIN OCTOPUS. Corfiot cuisine without interference in its purest form. Amazing Vegan / Vegetarian recipes.

Being a single person sometimes I find it difficult where to eat but walking past the Captain Octopus in Benitses nobody came out to pester me this gave me time to look at the menu and make up my mind without being told what to eat, I decided on the Octopus it seemed some what appropriate and I was not wrong the food was lovely and the staff first class they treated me with me with the upmost respect Betty and Alex thank you and as your menu is full of delicious meals I will be certainly coming back for more, thank you. X

This restaurant is a treasure, the quality of the products and the depth of flavour in the food is truly special. Nino the chef and owner is passionate, knowledgable about his food and really nice too. The seafood ravioli I ate there was honestly the best pasta dish I have ever had. I also loved the baked prawns with cheese which was really tasty. Grazie mille Nino! Please never change your belief in good ingredients and passion for delicious Italian food.We would love to return! My partner and I were on our honeymoon in Corfu and we were both unsure about going for an Italian meal when we were in Greece as we felt more keen to try the local cuisine. However, Corfu is so close to Italy and so many people in Corfu speak Italian that we figured that the mixing of Italian culture and Greek culture is part of Corfu's charm anyway, so we embraced it and we are so glad that we did!

Reasonably priced, lovely service from Yani and good atmosphere. Good vegan burger and several veg options that could be made vegan too (we are a mixed requirement family).
