Find out what International restaurants to try in Estoril. An exclusive resort town long recognized for attracting royalty, Estoril lies less than 20 miles west of Lisbon and is probably best known for its casino. One of Europe’s largest, it was the inspiration for the first of Ian Fleming’s James Bond books, "Casino Royale." Estoril’s mild winters and warm sunny summers make it a perfect beach town, with one of the nicest, Praia do Tamariz, lying right next to the casino. So famous has Estoril become that the local coast is now called Costa do Estoril.

5 of us ate dinner here a couple of nights ago. The bread was stale, the fish paste was in individual pre packed cartridges and not home made. The baked cod was not good. Tucked away so we thought it would be an authentic experience but we would not go back or recommend. Cash only.

Cimas restaurant is managed by Cimas family since 1952.Standing in a charming chalet with a view floating over the water Cimas restaurant denies none of Portugal´s traditional cuisine. Clients may chose several house specialties, ranging from traditional
I wrote my first Cimas review in Jan 2017 and we are now frequent diners. We just love the traditional ambiance....if those panelled walls had ears what stories they could tell! We have our favourite dishes including game stew, partridge, vienna schnitzel, calves liver, scampi....I could go on. The wine list suits all tastes & budgets, and the olde-worlde service is charming as well as efficient. It's become one of our very favourite dinner spots whether on our own or with groups of friends. If a contemporary venue suits you with paper napkins, a standard dinner menu with small portions & so-so service then you probably won't like it here. If you appreciate fresh food cooked as you want it and served up with politeness & respect - this is the place for you.Dear Client, We would like to personally thank you for taking the time to share again your experience at Cimas Restaurant. We are so pleased to read and listen to your comments. We are truly recognized when you mention âthe traditional ambianceâ, when you reinforce a menu proposal wide and traditional, when you emphasize that the wine list is well balanced , when you give such a special note to our team service describing it as a âcharming old world serviceâ .We very much look forward to welcoming you back soon,Best Regards,Sara CimasJose Manuel Cimas

Really cosy atmosphere - lots of vegan, vegetarian friendly options. Service staff was friendly and attentive. Food was really delicious, we ordered healthy appetizers that went great with the hummus! They have really good mains too, though not that filling. Recommended!

Gastronomic Restaurant in Cascais near the centre in the old part of town. Open Tuesday to Sunday daytime serving various styles of Bites/Tapas,and Plates by chef and co-owner Debora Rodrigues. Also for vegetarians, vegans and most produce is of Biological
Me and my friend were with our babies (less than a year old) and we felt like we are not welcome because of them. They were so rude that I left right at the moment with my baby and my friend stayed because we were in the middle of the meal and her baby was sleeping. I suggest you get to learn about nonviolent communication and also put a sign/write on your website that kids are not welcome.Beste go-mom-vegan!Sorry to here this! I think I remember you visit us 3 months ago ! A Little late your reaction!!Nothing to do? Well its not about the kids/babies, its 99% about the parents who are not behaving and take over your place with there kids! Leaving them crawling around on the Floor / jamming with our plates and everything they can crab , molestating our restaurant and the parents allows this like you and your husband did even stimulate this- take over the whole terrace outside with the kids everywhere on the ground like also your husband! The baby car was blocking the entrance and when i ask you to behave because we are a restaurant and not a playgarden for babies and kids you didnât listen!Even you start cleaning the babies diaper on the Floor of our terrace!! For you this is your normal behavior we found out but not for us! We are a restaurant / the restaurant is us and we are not a public space where you can behave like whatever you like!Again its not the kids or the babies/ the parents are the problem we found out! Realy we donât understand why people have no respect for other people's property and rules! We realy donât get iT !!!!

We made the reservation via messenger, fast and kind communication gave a good first impression. The place is located in the historical centre of Cascais, easily accessible via uber. Greeted upon arrival, served freshly baked bread, a delightful sausage and some nice hummus with that. I had the wagu sirloin, 58euros, but worth every cent! My mother had the Angus sirloin, also high quality meat. Beeing a Swede, I would have loved some sauce to go with the wonderful meat but you can't have it all. The chimichurri gives a great touch but honestly, the meat itself stands very well alone. House wine was excellent, both the red and the rose. Very friendly and attentive service. For meat lovers, this is the perfect place, I would certainly come back if I ever find myselfe in Cascais again! Highly recommended.

Wow! what a find. The food is absolutely wonderful, Paolo and Isabel so welcoming and full of friendly chat. The mushrooms and Italian salad just melt in your mouth. The wine was divine. It's very small and you will need to book. We will definitely go back when we return to Portugal.

A unique view over the Marina of Cascais accompanied by an exquisite menu. The award-winning Gourmet restaurant is one of the most elegant spaces of the Hotel, enjoying a unique view over the Marina of Cascais, discreet and careful service, coupled with a
Superb view with great valet parking. We were group of 8 with a dinner reservation for 7. Cordially the maître D quickly offered a larger table so, nobody would be his/her back to the view. At the end we kept the original table. Champagne was warmer than it should be but it was at the right temperature after 5 minutes. Food was OK and service was quite nice and friendly.Thank you very much for your comment, was a plesure to welcome you, we hope to see you soon.Best regards

My family of four had a wonderful dinner here. The selection of tapas was varied and each dish was absolutely delicious. We had a reservation for 8:30 and were seated promptly. Service was so friendly and helpful and we appreciated the advice on local travel tips as well. Highly recommend for a lovely evening! It was our first night in the area, staying in Cascais, and Uber was easy. We are so happy we visited this pretty little restaurant.
