Ericeira (Portuguese pronunciation: [eɾiˈsɐjɾɐ]) is a civil parish and seaside resort/fishing community on the western coast of Portugal, in the municipality of Mafra, about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of the capital, Lisbon. The population in 2011 was 10,260, in an area of 12.05 km². Ericeira is regarded by some as being Europe's Surf Mecca, due to the exceptional coastline conditions for the practice of Surf. It is home for Ericeira's World Surfing Reserve, the first in Europe and the second in the world.

Door stepped this location, need to book as itâs very popular, we were not disappointed, great menu and portions , staff were great , the vibe is friendly around this place , very reasonably priced.

We went to this cute little restaurant as a recommendation from a local. We had the tuna and fish cake, and for dessert Asian crepioca and berry mousse . They are simple dishes buts seriously packed with good and tasty ingredients, combined in a fantastic way with lots of imagination. Great atmosphere, great staff. Very friendly and smiley . If you are in Ericeira itâs a must! Highly recommend.

Birthday dinner of a dear friend and she decided to try this new place. Love the design. Trendy but still relaxed. A nice menu and polite service. I tried one of the pizzas that was pretty good. Everyone else was quite satisfied with their food. This has the potential to be one of the top spots of Ericeira. Dear FlyingTuga,Your friend made a good decision on choosing Jangada for the celebration of her birthday. This little kiosk has fantastic fresh food. Lovely staff that speak English too. Very generous glasses of wine. Superb menu of bagels, so light and fluffy. Nice easy listening music. Definately recommend. We came back twice!

Surprisingly good food and service at this little âordinaryâ restaurant situated in a square not far away from Praia do Sul in Ericeira. We were cruising Ericeira in pouring rain and with great hunger and this place became our rescue.
