Flavors of our country with a personal style. Food & music in very warm environment.
Bordering on fine dining, La Musa de Velarde serves creatively designed dishes that are pretty to behold and wonderfully appealing. Our family of four ordered fried green tomatoes, Musa meat pastry (made with candied beef cheek, sweet peppers and pomegranate caviar) and veg wrapped roll as starters -- all a feast to the eyes and a treat for the taste buds. For mains, we ordered the house burger and steak loin. Burger was tastefully cooked, nestled in soft and fluffy buns. The steak were delicious, tender and sumptuously moist, albeit portions were too small compared to its gastronomic taste! All in all, the food we had was delightful, elegant, made with a certain level of sophistication. The ingredients are well matched and perfectly formed. For this kind of food, we thought the prices were above average but justified.

Great value and quality three course menu de dia lunch for two hungry people. Only tourists in the joint and felt very welcome. I liked this restaurant and was very happy to have stumbled across it in the plaza de flores. Thanks to the staff.

En El Antojito hacemos una cocina de mercado sencilla, sabrosa y pensando siempre en sorprender a nuestros comensales
Very pleasant, comfortable restaurant for our family group including our 5 year old nephew. The waitress was able to advise on all dishes and pointed out the very reasonable "Menu del Dia" (2 courses with a choice of dishes and includes a glass of wine or beer) for around 12 Euros. We started with 5 different plates of tapas followed by a filet steak with foie gras which was amazing. Our nephew was given a number of small bowls of crisps/savoury biscuits and our waitress pointed out the small plates of food which he might like to try. Plenty of on street free parking is an added bonus. Will definitely be going back next time we are in Elche
