Fine dining in a really cosy old fashioned environment.Could be described as medieval influenced "castle" furnishing and atmosphere.The restaurant is on two floors. The upper "balcony" area is more spacious. The first level is more secluded - tucked away under the balcony.Skilful chef preparing classic dishes. Not inventive, but honest and with fine ingredients.Clearly with à la saison attitude. Commendable.Attentive and helpful staff.Great wine list!Quite expensive though...We had a great evening and found the price to be worth it.Not much more to say - you should try it if your'e tired of the bierstube food available in every corner...

Just underneath the Wartburg castle, the restaurant offers a rather limited selection of dishes, but both the Sauerbraten ("sour roast beef", a German beef specialty) and the catfish (Wels in German) were excellent. They also have a range of wines, including wines from the East German Saale-Unstrut region.

Weihnachtsfeier nach dem Bowling, das Service war freundlich und nett, das Essen leider nur bestenfalls Durchschnitt, selbst der Burger den ich hatte war okay, aber nicht woran ich mich länger erinnern werde. Leider riecht es in der ganzen Anlage relativ stark nach Essen, was mich doch recht gestört hat. Die Preise sind für Eisenach okay.
