Iâve lived in Edmonton for about 10 years and this was my first visit. Iâd heard good thing and was looking forward to it. We arrived and were seated promptly. Our server Jason was fantastic and made our visit very special. He paid special attention to our mother who was celebrating her 88th birthday. I ordered the seafood special which happened to be halibut. I started with my mushroom soup which I found to be thin and lacking in seasoning. My halibut was just average and the sauce was thin and lacking in depth of flavour. My wife had the prime rib which as sold as among the best in Edmonton. It was not ... it was overcooked and lacking in flavour. Iâve had better at least 5 places in Edmonton at less money. Oh ya this place is pricy. The one thing that canât be beat is the beautiful view of Edmonton as the restaurant rotates. That is the only reason we would ever return. Next time we will try the Chateaubriand which is their signature dish. Oh and thank god we got Jason as a waiter. The other waiter which Iâll describe as Asian only to identify him ... I have no issue with Asians. This guy though apparently thought it was all about him. He talked incessantly and we could tell by the eye rolls and head shakes from his tables that it was not appreciated. He was god awful and not what a place like this needs. He needs to be reined in or let go.Hello rodr345, we were very sorry to learn you were disappointed with your meals, and we do appreciate your feedback regarding Jason's service. I will personally follow up with the kitchen team as well as the server you described and address the issues you identified. We do thank you for considering on returning and I'm confident you will enjoy the Chateaubriand and do not hesitate to ask for your preferred server to ensure you have a memorable evening with us. Join us on a Wednesday night when the Chateaubriand is on special!!Thank you again for your feedback as this will definitely assist us in improving our quality.Sincerely,

Went here as I bought 2 gift cards for family and we wanted to use them. Not what I expected, that's more my fault as I thought it was a French restaurant. While the food was okay and the staff really polite it's kind of a hodge podge of food from Italian, Canadian and mostly Indian. Like I said the food was okay but not what I was expecting.Hello Steelers Oilers. Hope to see you next time when crave for food which we serve.

In the area for an early appointment, we opted to have breakfast here. Parking is available in a nearby lot and we were quickly seated on entering the restaurant. Plenty of breakfast choices at reasonable prices. The Classic Breakfast was cooked to order, with crisp bacon, double toasted toast and eggs just the way each of us liked them. The home style potatoes were delicious. We finished up by sharing one of their famous cinnamon buns with caramel sauce. All was delicious and service was efficient and friendly. We will be back.

The small but fantastic restaurant never disappoints. The food is well prepared and tasty, much attention is given to it. It is also a restaurant where you can converse without yelling at each other. So many restaurants (far to many) nowadays have these high, exposed ceilings and often tile floors thus they are extremely loud. The service is great, they do have a limited menu but .... thus everything is fresh and enterprising.

Finishing shopping around 4 pm, we happy the Glass Monkey was open (3:30) so we could take advantage of its great beer offering. Having the patio to ourselves, we received excellent attention from a well-informed server, discussing, for example, choices for Belgian sour beers. Our finger foods, house-made potato chips, carpaccio, grilled broccoli, arrived promptly and in stages as we requested. When we suggested they try tossing the potato chips in paprika as a variation, the server brought us a new paprika-tossed serving of chips to try. How delightful! The broccoli was hot and tender with a coarse shred of asiago. The carpaccio was delicately thin with a light flavor of grainy mustard and a drizzle of olive oil served with bread rounds. It doesn't get any better than having this excellent spot in my neighborhood. Aside: Lots of parking.
