La comida en este restaurante antes era muy buena, pero desde que cambiaron la decoración, creo que tambien cambiaron al encargado de la cocina porque a partir de esta remodelación en primer lugar subieron los precios y en segundo bajaron la calidad de los alimentos, yo siempre que me hospedo en este hotel ingerÃa alimentos en su restaurante pero ya no por los motivoas yá explicados.

Es una de las mejores opciones en Durango, desde que llegas al lugar sientes la calidez en la atención de toda su personal.Está ubicado aún dentro del cuadro principal del centro histórico en la Ciudad de Durango, caminando desde catedral llegas en 15 minutos o bien en Uber desde el centro comercial Paseo Durango llegas en 10 minutos. Cercano al teleférico, al parque Guadiana.Cuenta con espacio interior y una amplia terraza.Su especialidad son las carnes, cuentan de diversos cortes y clases, Angus del rancho el 17 y Wagyu (el mesero puede asesorarte y explicarte muy bien la calidad y origen de esta última). Además preparan tacos, hamburguesas, sopas, ensaladas, cuentan con una amplia variedad de entradas y platillosLos precios son excelentes, a mi en lo personal cuando me lo recomendaron me advirtieron al respecto y que podrÃan ser altos, pero para nada, la relación de precio y calidad es excelente.Claro que volveré en mi próximo viaje a Durango.

This is not like the states obviously. I went in there with jeans and a t-shirt. Like most people do in the U.S. I was look down why because the is considered a "luxury" restaurant in mexico meaning if you're don't look wealthy they will barley pay any attention to you the food is not to standard the prices are through the roof.

We walked 13 blocks from our hotel (Posada San Agustin) one night stopping in the Plaza de Armas for a bit of people watching, then continuing on. We knew the Hotel Goberador had 3 restaurants and decided we should check it out. We were caught off-guard by the beautiful Terraza.................outside, lovely landscaping, warm lighting, super-attentive waiter, and, of course good food. We wanted a light meal and had no difficulty finding what we wanted. Our waiter, Victor, was personable, attentive to our needs, and yet managed to not hang over us as some waiters do. We recommend going there just to sit outside, enjoy the atmosphere, and the good food. We took a cab back to our hotel. 14 MXN!

Very nice place for a late dinner but they also have an extensive buffet for breakfast and late lunch. The salads are great and the soups also. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended it.

We ate here twice: one dinner and one breakfast............loved the interior design, loved the mood created, thoroughly enjoyed our meals. If you are staying at the Victoria Express Hotel, Bistro Garden is a quick walk across the parking lot. We had excellent service, delicious meals. Next time we drive to Texas, we will be sure to stop here for a meal or two. Too bad this is not in the Centro Historica. It is a couple of miles away from the center of the city which means driving away from the comfort of downtown. However when driving through Durango to another destination, it is a perfect place to stop and refresh.

Great service and great food. Recommended by a friend. The repurposed mansion provides a unique dining experience. We had an intimate table on second floor overlooking what would have been the courtyard. Excellent musicians played below later in evening. Diners are seated in numerous rooms connected by stairways and doorways, allowing separation of typical large family groups from those anticipating a more intimate evening. Decor emphasizes local antiques, and examining what's hanging on the walls will entertain. Our waiter was informative and attentive. We started with a delicious calamari appetizer, shared a salad of tender fresh greens vegetables, then had great mains and dessert. My companion had fresh tuna, deftly seared and rare, with that distinctive spicy taste, perfect. My chicken mole was excellent, with the nutty flavor coming through. New enjoyed the music as we finished our wine and dessert. Truly a great evening. Just a note, we made reservations for 7:30, and although the place seemed empty when we arrived, it was full when we left. Local folks dine late here.
