The service was great and so was the Pizza! From what I have read pizza was recently added as this was supposed to be a bar with snacks, I'd say that drinking wasn't paying the bills so they added a more robust food menu to include Pizza. A bit more expensive than Nevas, but a bit better pizza and that's with me considering Nevas very good pizza!

Bogarts is one of my favorite places on the strip. The resto/bar facing the beach is laid back and unassuming. The alcohol is fairly priced--service prompt and accurate. They also have some excellent eats (try the chili con carne!). The white wine (an Austrian wine) is one of the best BTG wines you'll find in this little 'burg!!!He's also opened a separate more upscale bar next door--try it!

This was the favorite restaurant of our nephew who just graduated from University.Andy is a Swiss retiree who married a Filipina and set up a resto in Dumaguete. He is the chief cook too!We ordered steaks and were really impressed! It is a small resto and has a homely feeling.Highly recommended!!

A small restaurant part of the Hayahay building where they have live music most nights. We went for 2 tacos - fish and chicken - and some monster nachos to share. Despite the Hayahay being busy, this restaurant was really quiet which is a shame as the food was great.

Located at the Dumaguete Airport, come and relax with Cold beer, the Best Coffee in the Philippines, good quality food and friendly staff. Just 2 minutes walk form the arrivals and departure area, we look forward to seeing you here.
The finish line is really handy to visit especially if you are traveling in or out of Dumaguete. The Staff is always friendly, the food is good, the menu is small but everything on it is very edible and tasty, typically american style food, but breakfast can be beans on Toast if you prefer, the beer is always cold, the coffee always fresh. the Finish line is only open during airport operational hours, but that is ok.

Ciao Bella is Italian Restaurant and Bar. We have air-conditioned dining room and open air bar beside.
We ate here in 2015. Under the original owner, horrible. But he is deceased. The new owner has an excellent chef - at least based on one dish, she is excellent, well almost. The dish, mousaka, was one of three specials for the day. All the ingredients perfect, especially the super fluffy potatoes. BUT, she used the small Philippine bell peppers, not the larger. The Philippine ones have a tough skin that tastes and feels like the cellophane wrapping candy. Yech. I look forward to returning to Ciao Bella, but no bell peppers! Oh, excellent desert too!

Lab-as Seafood Restaurant has been around since 1988, and continues to live up to its name âlab-asâ (Cebuano term of fresh, particularly pertaining to fish and seafood), serving the freshest of seafood, with live crabs, lobsters, prawns, oysters, choice o
We actually went here twice in 2 days. So it's quite remarkable that they managed to make mistakes on the bills both times and they are one of only two restaurants in Dumaguete that I'm aware of that have a Service Charge (5%).You may think (depending where you come from) that 5% SC is reasonable. But the SC we paid for one meal would almost pay one waiters salary and does it actually go to the staff? On the first occasion we had ordered kinilaw (raw spicy fish with salad), it was only after we had left the restaurant that we realised we'd paid for it but never had it. partly our fault I guess. The second occasion, I scrutinised the bill and found Pinakbet there, which we had neither ordered nor eaten. After telling the waiter, we had to wait ages for the corrected bill. We have eaten there many times and it is not the first time there have been "mistakes" in the bill, always in the restaurants favour I have to say.As for the food, mostly it is fine and we do like the Bouillabaisse seafood soup with tomato and coconut base, as well as the Lumpiang Isda and steamed oysters. But prices (for Dumaguete) are not cheap and of course there is that SC.Hi KendalVisayas thank you for leaving a feedback and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologized for your this experience, we are always aiming for good service and good food. We would love to see you in the future and serve you. Please feel free reach out to the owner Sande by phone or e-mail ([email protected]), with any further comments, concerns, or suggestions you wish to share. Hayahay Team

our guest had fried pork with rice and ate it all. wife had curried chicken and ate half. it was a yellow sauce and i concede a remote curry flavor. i had the special chimichanga with chips and tortilla soup. the chimichanga was about the size of half of a softball and completely soggy. the lettuce was limited and not crispy. i do not know if any of the serving was meat, i could not tell. the corn chips were tough and chewy which is a universal problem in the philippines. if you want crispy chips you have to buy a bag of tostitos at lee plaza. the cheese is also awful, only soft cheese or cheese sauce. they do not know hard cheese here. no chili, no cumin, no cilantrothe iced tea was good and so was the johnny black. the view of the harbor and walkway is good here. traffic is pretty heavy so do not eat outside if the wind is onshore. out tab was 1500 pesos plus tip. service was greatnearly 500 of our bill was two shots of jb. you can eat much better food at nevas at least twice and maybe three times for the same money, but no view there.if you are a tourist fine, if you live here, slit your wrists firsthi john thanks for the comments on our service but let me just a bit explain about the food yes the curry is yellow curry and it says it clear on the menue and the chimichanga was a lunchspecial with soup salad free icetea and main for 270 peso and was with chicken tomatoesalsa and cheesesauce your right but it was american nachocheesesauce if you want hardcheese we have available and your jb was doubleblack thanks but i need also to comment to inform our other guests about facts

My expectations were high since this is listed on top of the âmust triesâ restaurants when in Dumaguete.Pros (+)- Service was great. Food attendants were smiling, polite & service-oriented.- Place is located near Silliman University, walking-distance from the boulevard. Everyone knows the place.- Chicken Pasta Penne wasnât too great but thatâs the only food that stood out for me - Average pricingCons (-) - Gutted over the food. At least the ones that we ordered werenât good IMO. - KRI Ramen was a let down. Tasted average to become a bestseller (soup)- Truffle Bleu cheese burger with bacon, their bestseller (burgers) was pretty average for my palate. The banana chips side dish couldnât save it either. Fries or potato wedges would have complemented it better.Verdict: Iâd order something else if I decide to go back.
