Named one of the BEST 50 Bay Area Restaurants by the Mercury News, 4 year winner of Wine Spectator Award Wine List, 2 years running best cocktail at the Alameda County Fair Craft Cocktail Competition. Chef Francis X. Hogan brings you Seasonal California C
Enjoyed a nice dinner at Sabio at a window table for 2 (definitely make a reservation). We ordered the olives, manchego, flat iron, octopus, 4 draft beers and Valrhona Chocolate Crémeux = $115 -- doesn't seem too bad. Every dish was flavorful and even the beer was very crisp & tasty. Thought the dessert was one of the best desserts I have had and I am a total chocolate snob (and draft beer snob too). The only dish we can fault somewhat was the kinda chewy flat iron steak. However the hash side served w/ the steak was phenomenal! Service was attentive and friendly and we weren't rushed. I would definitely return!
