Reviews on International food in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh, India. Serenely spiritual Dharamsala is home to the largest Tibetan temple outside of Tibet. It’s known for its religious iconography and is the monastery of the Dalai Lama, who holds public lectures a few times a year. Once you’ve restored your spiritual energy, enjoy a picturesque stroll to Bhagsu Waterfall or climb the hill to Triund to bask in stunning views of the Himalayas.

We were weary from a long drive from Shimla and our party of 8 seniors had a ball . Delicious soups and momos and ginger lemon tree . When the guy found out we were from South Africa he changed the music so the South African ladiescould have a dance . Super sweet place certainly worth climbing the stairs for .

Went here for dinner on a snowy day and it wasn't crowded at all. Ordered the wood fired pizza's and they were as good as advertised! Completely loved them and they are priced so reasonably! They had a great menu and I would have liked to order a lot of other things, except I didn't have time to come back here! Must go if you like pizza.

Yet another place with cool vibes and happy people, Chilly Beans Cafe makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. As soon as we entered the place we were greeted by the smiley staff and instantly felt welcomed. The menu has a wide variety ranging from local delicacies to international items as well as plenty of juice options. Their momos were quite good, their juices delicious and their coffee quite descent. Thumbs up!

By far, Carpe Diem is my favourite place to eat in McLeodganj. Its a multicuisine of sorts (Italian, Chinese, Indian and Tibetan), however, my recommendation would be to try the Italian food here - pizzas in particular. Amongst the several teas they offer, honey lemon ginger tea is the best. There are tables and chairs you can sit on, and there are also comfortable cushions on the floor where you can sit and eat. Its a very laid back place. When in McLeodganj, you cannot give Carpe Diem a skip! :)

A great place to have speciality coffees and great cuisine ranging from awesome sandwiches to salads to pastas.
This is the most amazing place I've been to in McLeod in a long time. We tried their jumbo sandwich, choco and nutella pancake and the freshly brewed French press coffee. There was nothing that we didn't like. The best thing about this cafe is that everything is freshly made due to which you might have to wait a little but trust me it's all worth it. Just keep one thing in mind, their food is yum & portions are huge - so order accordingly.Must must place to be.

We have been in Mcleodganj for the last couple of days and have ended up visiting this little surprise package quite a few times.. First of all the food : They mainly serve Tibetan food though the menu options per second wouldn't be very high. The dishes are freshly cooked and it reflects in the taste as well. The dough for noodles and dumplings is also prepared in house which sort of adds to the freshness of the meal. They also use wheat to prepare the dough which is also very interesting. If nothing else, it makes the dish healthier. They mainly operate for a few hours during the day and the joint is frequented by both locals and foreigners. Value for money is good too, a meal for two would cost around 300. Must try would be veg dimsums, thukpa and even the noodles..
