Delicious Dutch food! Pancakes, sandwiches, soups, salads, omelettes, tea, coffee, beer and wine as well as traditional Dutch home-cooked meals and treats!
A lovely little place with a really wide range of options to design your own pancakes! What a great idea. The perfect solution to a hangover or a weekend brunch date with friends, and at a very reasonable price as well. Will definitely be coming back!

Bloxham is a picturesque village with old cottages in well kept surroundings. The pub is down a side street off the main highway with on road parking and a private car park at the rear. The quaint stone building has lots of external character some of which remains inside. A past modernisation looks ok though some areas need another refresh and the toilets definitely need attention. But there is ample seating and a pleasant bar area. We dropped by on the way to visit nearby Broughton Castle (limited opening days/ times) so this venue was convenient for lunch. The menu offered weekday 2 lunches for £15 with half a dozen dishes to choose from. Fish and chips and the scampi came up hot, tasty and nicely presented. Good value!

We went for lunch to celebrate a 90th birthday. The menu was extensive, the food tremendous and clearly prepared with quality ingredients by skilled chefs. The service at the table was excellent despite the restaurant being very busy. The George Inn is located in the picturesque village of Barford St. Michael on the edge of the Cotswolds. This charming 17th century thatched pub has nine individually decorated en-suite bedrooms, all with flat screen TV's and tea/coffee making facilities
A large group of us stayed here for the first time and we all were pleasantly surprised with the quality, service and staff, so impressed we ate in every night to our delight, the meals were so good we didn't want to venture anywhere else. The rooms were superb and very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble, we felt welcome and treated exceptionally well by all staff particularly Margaretta who even helped us get an early start to an event on her day off.The was only a small niggle and that was in July we fancied eating outside but smoking was allowed and encouraged on the exterior dining tables, and not in a designated smoking area.A great find and we'll be back.

A lovely country pub/restaurant with large gardens on the outskirts of South Newington village. Midway between Banbury and Chipping Norton. Well placed for country walks and visiting the Medieval Church. Serves local ales and home-cooked meals.
We just enjoyed a lovely, rainy day Monday lunch at the Duck. We have never been before. They have lots of parking, and a nice little outdoor set up if you want to sit outside. Umbrellas and some âfurâ rugs to sit on and keep your rear warm (and padded). The tables face the duck pond.We sat inside with our kids (1 and 6) and it was nice, clean and well decorated. We were happy with our meals, portion sizes and service which was friendly and thoughtful. We would definitely return. The Duck is very accommodating to gluten free, which if youâve read my previous reviews youâll know is my biggest requirement. They also have vegan on the menu.We enjoyed (6 of us) tomato & basil soup, hamburger, fish & chips; and some kids meals. Photos included.

The Unicorn is a stunning 17th century country inn oozing with character that has an incredibly diverse offering. Not only does the Unicorn have a charming bar area and snug both complete with open fire places, it also has a FARM TO FORK STYLE restaurant,
Well positioned pub in Deddington, facing the market square. Good welcome, as warm afternoon wanted to sit in the back garden. A lot of litter, empty cigarette packets lying on the ground, ladders leaned against a wall. Shame really as could have so much cleaner. Pub roast was ok at £12.95 but good that local food.2 rooms at front of pub looked cosy for winter and quite popular although couldn't tell if local or visitors to the area like us.
