Located on the scenic Sittee River, in Sittee Village (just south of Hopkins) we offer cuisine created from the fusion of ingredients and produce from Belize's various ethnic groups, offering an exciting twist to traditional recipes. Marina is open 6 am t
It was a sultry afternoon,we had rented a golf cart to cruise around in and around Hopkins, and we luckily came upon The Curve Bar. Standing on the bank of the Sittee River, surrounded by tropical flowers and greenery, the thatched roof structure is built of gorgeous wood, typical of the areas architectural heritage. The setting magical. We sat at a table next to the river,as we were in desperate need of some cool liquid refreshment. Drink selections were numerous and were unique, making our decisions even the more difficult. I chose a cold blend of rum, cocoa, and coconut-Wow ! My husband ordered a juice-smoothie made from bananas, mango, lime, and rum,( x 2), which cooled him down quickly from the humidity. Warm crispy chips and watermelon salsa were brought by a friendly and humorous young lady. We were 100% relaxed. The bartender came by and asked how the drinks were. Fantastic, we ordered another round.....the Mayan Gods were speaking to us now. Time floated by as it would sitting next to the river, and we realized we had to get the cart back quick as the rental shop was closing and we did have a way to go, we did not want to. Sadly, we had to depart Belize the next morning, we had made this discovery on the tail end of our Belize adventures. I would definitely return to taste one of the fresh fish dishes, and to investigate the drink of the day. Many thanks to the attentive and welcoming hostess and bar-keep,for an enjoyable experience.

Chef Rob changes his menu on a daily base inspired by the freshest products delivered to us by the ocean and the land. You can have your meals prepared in the kitchen, or cooked directly at your table on a 700F hot Rock, the 'Love on the Rocks' concept. E
This is the place to go for fresh lobsters in Hopkins. Chef Rob is real gourmet chef, knows how to make the meal memorable. Both preparations of lobster were sublime, service friendly. Certainly, DO NOT FORGET to order seafood cappuccino. This is actually a soup! Inventive. All in all, the best dinner in Hopkins, and it doesn't come cheap, by Hopkins standards. Gotta do it once, though.

Lovely restaurant and staff. Food is superb and staff is super accommodating with dietary needs and even a great kids menu. As the name implies, this IS THE place for lobster in Hopkins. Special Lobster Season menu and dishes are divine. The simply grilled tail is perfect, but you can't beat sharing the lobster mac 'n cheese. My son enjoyed the Gluten Free Crispy Chicken Chicklets and got a fun kids toy and "tattoo". Highly recommend.

I enjoyed every single meal at the Hamanasi Restaurant. Breakfast always hit the spot. I recommend refried beans with eggs -- the coconut oil used in the beans gives it a unique flavor. Lunch can be either be a light salad or something more substantial. I particularly liked the Caribbean rice and beans with chicken stew, though the fish tacos were not far behind. And the only issue I ever had with the three-course dinner was that sometimes I was almost too full for dessert. The catch of the day is always delicious but so are all the other choices.Plus the service -- everyone there is friendly, accommodating, cheerful, and skilled. From the cooks to the servers, it's a happy place.

They have a nice setup here with a good bar, plenty of games to play while waiting for you food, and beach volleyball available. The food was delicious as well, so that never hurts. I really liked the vibe here. I had a plain small pizza and lobster tacos.
