A seaside Mexican restaurant with Mexican traditional food. La Patrona Restaurant will delight your palate with the authentic flavors of this cuisine, which is one of the most extensive culinary exhibitions in the world.
We went there on a Monday night and found they have a lobster special on Monday and Friday nights. Lobster was a nice size for $19.99 plus it came with veggies and potato. The Staff was amazing and very helpful.

Coming to Sint Maarten in low season presented us with some challenges - not just weather, but finding open restaurants. Finally, six days into our week, we were told that Nowhere Special was someplace special! I, personally, had been craving grilled Caribbean lobster all week and we were told that the previous night was a lobster special night at Nowhere Special. Well we missed it by one day, but the wonderful people at Nowhere Special took great care of us, and brought me a fabulous grilled Caribbean lobster, with the yummiest fried plantains ever, and of course, their famous Johnny Cakes! Our server, Red, was amazing, such a sweetie. The music was delightful, and everyone was so friendly. This was my first trip to Sint Maarten, but I hope to return and if I do, I will definitely return to Nowhere Special!!

A great international restaurant in a fun, air conditioned, Caribbean cottage that celebrates all-American comfort cuisine alongside international culinary delights. Daily specials focus on fresh seafood and the best quality meats cooked to perfection. Lu
A great go to place for food and drinks. Everything we ate was above average. They are known for the brisket and you won't be disappointed! Topper himself still hangs out at the restaurant, a very nice man! Free rum samples, cold beer and karaoke...what else could you ask for as a starting place for your evening, or an ending place for the early folks...

We had supper one night of our vacation and went back a couple days later for lunch. The food was excellent, I think I had the special of Mahi Mahi. The ambiance was very casual and our server, Marco did a great job.On the return for lunch I tried the Spicy Jerk Chicken Wrap. If you like spicy hot, try this excellent wrap. I only planned to eat half and take the rest home but I ate the whole thing...very delicious. Some reviewers would only give this place a four because it isn't the lap of air conditioned luxury. But I gave it a five because it wasn't air conditioned and it is what it is, a casual bar/restaurant with great food.

Lamb shawarma was amazing, they give you tons of lamb and the garlic sauce is very good. It includes a choice of 2 sides. The rice was cold, and the steamed vegetables were mushy and appear to have been pre cooked and been sitting out for a while. Best lamb shawarma on the island. Waitress forgot about me, too , so I just left some money on the table and left. Would be a great value if the sides orders were not cold / old. Won't be going back as there are much better options close by.

Ive been coming to St Maarten since I was 12 years old. We have always had our favorite places to eat but The Palms has become one of our top favorites of all time! One year we were on the island and wanted to try something new and stumbled upon The Palms on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try.Best decision ever! The drunken ribs are a must and the small eclectic setting is so cool and laid back and lastly you cant beat the company from owner Craig and his wife (and mom in the kitchen)! This past year when we visited topped it off... forgetting that The Palms only takes cash we failed to bring nothing more then $30 and credit cards. After already ordering drinks we realized this and I was just about to get in the car and leave my significant other at the table to run and get cash when Craig said to just relax enjoy our drinks and food and we can come back later with cash. Mind Blown! After enjoying the best meal of course we ran and got cash to come back to enjoy another cold drink and hospitality from this amazing Restaurant. With that in mind... bring cash lol and plan on eating the best meal with cold drinks and great company in the best environment a restaurant can have. Returning every year we come to the island is a promise! Thank you for everything Craig! We appreciate the great review and the support! Thank you so much!! Looking forward to seeing you again soon!
