This is a new restaurant/bar, and we were welcomed with open arms by the bartender Michel who made our visit outstanding. It is situated a few doors up from Las Mamparas which is a very highly rated and busy restaurant. So if you don't want to wait, definitely visit Arte G. The food is great and very well priced. The staff are very friendly and go that extra mile for you which we found uncommon in Cuba (in general). Even if you don't eat, Michel makes great cocktails!!

Wanted some local food. My guide suggested this restaurant tor lunch. Ordered a nice sandwich and a beer. It was a great sandwich, beyond my expectations. While eating, I relaxed with the soothing music played by a local guitar player. The staff was pleasant and the service was good. If you're in Cuba, stop in this really cool place and have a great meal. If you cannot read the menu they will help you with making a tasty choice.

The Caribbean is located on the outskirts of the city of Cienfuegos, in the distribution Caunao. Its geographical location on one of the roads leading to the town Cumanayagua, off Caunao cast. A 2 KM Airport Jaime Gonzales, 7 KM Botanical Garden of our ci
We arrived in Havana around noon and were making our way to Trinidad when started to get hungry. Our driver recommended we stop in his hometown, Cienfuegos, and eat at El Caribeño and that's exactly what we did. Amazing food, drinks and service. Very good prices, unbelievable first meal in Cuba. Could not be happier with our experience.

November 2016The chicken was OK, but not great. The most expensive meal 'Mariscada Floridita Blanca' (21,65CUC) was not possible to eat. The Lobster was bitter and shrimps tasteless. Also we tried the shrimp cocktail - the shripms were raw. When I told this to the waitress, she just shrugged her shoulders. Do not recommend this place for meal.

Well, I saw many times many people and I decided to try. With few words, fair for the prices, friendly service BUT stay to the simple cuisine... Lasagna, spaghetti white rice ect.. The most demanding dishes they cannot support them. For example filler beef with whisky was far away from tasty... If you need food go, if you need really tasty food try somewhere else..

The view is amazing. We were taken by our guide for the lunch buffet. They ran out of food. People were piling their plates with the shrimp and chicken and they kept running out. It was very crowded and noisy.

This may have been the best meal we had in Cuba and, as residents of Tampa, we are very familiar with Cuban food. The lunches were very good, but we totally spoiled our appetites on the huge platter of newly cooked plantain chips we were served. Heaven! The service was very good and the restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere.

Taking as a reference the pride that we feel the cienfuegueros to own the emblematic and distinctive Paseo del Prado, we opened the doors of our modest restaurant in the No. 4626 of that street the 4 of February of 2011. The uniformity and rectilinear lin
Recommended by Ivan, our host in the casa where we are staying. We had already eaten but popped in for a quick drink on the way home, which turned into a few drinks! The rooftop terrace is a great place to spend an evening, there is however a more formal dining set up on the downstairs floors. The cocktails were excellent and really well priced. The service was friendly and professional. We saw some of the food when it was served to a neighbouring table and it looked excellent. If we were staying in Cienfuegos another night we would definitely dine here.

This was the sixth restaurant I visited in Cuba, three in Havana and three in Cienfuegos. It is by far the best of the six. The food was simple but very good. The house wine, a Spanish Sauvignon Blanc was also very good and the service was excellent.

A charming place with great view of the water. Perfect to relax and enjoy amazing Cuban and International food. At night, beautiful lighting of the dock. From a snack to a delicious lobster tail meal, you can enjoy the atmosphere and the food.
Punta Gorda is the slightly posh seaside holiday destination in Cienfuegos. I have heard it described as the Cuban equivalent of Sandbanks in the UK, but it is on a smaller, prettier more Cuban scale. This restaurant is in the perfect location very close to the end of the point, jutting out over the sea. Watching crabs and fish swim by the coloured lights after dinner added to the fun of the evening, especially when a fish jumped out at our feet! The food is beautifully prepared and very decoratively presented with garnishes. Portions are very large. All the dishes my family ate at dinner were delicious. Breakfast was also lovely and very nicely presented. This is Cuba though, so some ingredients can be unavailable.
