Little Bay Restaurants have been offering high-quality Modern-European cuisine for very reasonable prices since its creation in 1992. With a selection of starters, mains and desserts, as well as a comprehensive wine menu, Little Bay has everything for eve
Back to Little Bay today for lunch. We've been there many, many times and never been disappointed....until today. First, the good: the Sicilian service was superb: attentive, welcoming helpful and efficient and could not be bettered anywhere. The atmosphere was its usual relaxed quirky self. The Brunch value is excellent. The quite good: our lunch, albeit tepid and less than piping hot actually tasted very good. The definitely not good: there were only two other diners in the restaurant but it took nearly half an hour for our food to arrive. Just not acceptable. When it arrived it was not piping hot. Just not acceptable. The muffins were tough, hard and difficult to cut. Most items on the Brunch menu offer Hash Browns. We'd been seated for a good ten minutes after give our order before the ( really lovely and charming) waitress came to tell us that there was only one Hash Brown left in the kitchen and that one of us would have to choose something else. Just not acceptable: if you are missing a prime ingredient of most of the dishes on a menu you should just not continue to offer it. What a pity: we will go back again for the atmosphere and the lovely service and the evening atmosphere but will be wary of ever going back again at lunch time. It seems silly to open in such a half-hearted way at all....and it will drive customers away.

Stayed in Wimbledon and wanted to eat locally. Found restaurant on website and booked online. Whole experience was great from start to finish. Service friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Food excellent, pork belly was melt in the mouth. Wine great. Staff happy to meet individual requests. Thank you for a great evening

My boyfriend & I came here with another couple who we are friends with on our recommendation. The Grange is our curry house of choice because of the different & interesting dishes they have on their menu plus first class service. I'm glad to say that on this occasion they lived up to our high recommendation. The restaurant was busy, as always. The service was great, friendly & lots of smiles. The food was on point as expected. Never had anything less than perfect at any of our visits. One thing I will say is that if you're driving, swerve the cocktails. They are killer strong almost at the point of undrinkable. Either the barman doesnt taste his cocktails or hes out to get smashed at work!

Normally enjoy the service of the friendly staff at this branch when going for drinks in the evening so decided to try out lunch there having enjoyed some smaller plates before. My other half is a vegetarian and decided do go for tapas options. Was disappointed at first to find they didnât have any vegetable tempura which was surprising. We then enquired as to why the halloumi fries were not vegetarian. Neither the waiters or the kitchen staff could answer this question, offering suggestions such as âmaybe a cow died making itâ or âmaybe theyâre fried in the same oil as the meatâ. The first suggestion is obviously absurd and not helpful and the second one if true needs to be changed, although I wonder what they do with the tempura if this is the case. I ordered the meatball wrap. Unfortunately the waiter pushed the wrong button, when the food came they offered me the wrong food, trying to guilt trip me into having the wrong meal to save them time and effort. I rejected this and had to wait another 20 minutes after everyone else had finished before my food arrived. Food was alright but the terrible service means we will not be coming back.Jacobt2362, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Holy smoke is a 24 seater modern international neighbourhood restaurant influenced by wine, whisky, wood smoke and a healthy contempt for convention. Please note that we only take reservations by email.
Went for a birthday meal with my partner on a quiet Monday evening, our first visit. The decor is really interesting. Quiet dark colours, purple walls and ceilings but it really worked. We chose the langoustine bisque and a leaf and lentil starter. For mains I had guinea foul and my partner chose sea bass. The bisque was simply sublime. With an ice cream (flavoured with star anise I think) melting into it. Really delicious. We had a really good suggestion on the wine choice from the person serving us. The entire meal, wine and evening were very special and now we've discovered it We will definitely return
