Great menu of international dishes with a focus on a French cuisine. A restaurant experience which the whole family will enjoy. For locals and tourists alike.
We regularly dine out at a variety of local restaurants throughout Cairns and surrounding area. We have eclectic tastes and like to eat varied cultural quizines. We have dined at Linga Longa International on a weekly to fortnightly basis for quite some time and have always found the entire experience of an excellent standard. From the moment you walk into this small family run restaurant, you are made to feel welcome. The food is of the highest quality. Sergey and his staff are always looking to improve and deliver the best product. The prices are very reasonable. The ambiance is great, and you are able to have a conversation without being blotted out by background noise, such is the case in a lot of other restaurants. I have run out superlatives when describing our dining experiences each time we dine there. If you want to continue paying a fortune at other more prominent establishments. Thatâs fine. But we will continue to dine at this secluded gem thatâs offers everything we desire in a dining experience.

What a great little cafe. The dishes were made of very fresh, tasty ingredients. This isnât a meat pie and chips kind of place. Though, you might still be able to order them. If you like contemporary flavours that tickle your tastebuds then this might be a good option. The place has table service which was a bit slow, but I like a place that gets you out of the busyness of life and lets you take a few extra minutes to enjoy time with friends and family. I would definitely recommend this place. We will be back.

Hemingway's Brewery Cairns Wharf is a heritage listed venue located at the cruiseliner terminal in Cairns with veiws across Trinity Inlet. A newer and much larger venue with ten times the brewing capacity of its Port Douglas sister venue, Hemingway's Brew
We had dinner at Hemmingway's during their Octoberfest evening. Unfortunately they missed the mark on the Schnitzel, the salad and the pretzel. On the other hand, the beer was great, the service excellent and the location and atmosphere perfect. I would certainly give it another go, but perhaps not for German food.

We specialise in gourmet French crepes as well as build your own all-day breakfast, daily specials, with a wide selection of favourite options. All savoury crepes are gluten-free; this option is available for sweet crepes as well. We use only the freshest
This is the place to go to in the Kuranda Heritage Markets to get the best crepes. There are classic crepes, sweet crepes and gourmet crepes. The gourmet crepes are outstanding, and are a bit like a gourmet pizza on a crepe base. All three of us were very happy with what we ordered and would happily go there again. It is popular so you may have to wait for a seat if you go there at peak times. There is a also lovely deck which looks into the rainforest. The staff are all really friendly and helpful.

Bringing the joy of casual med dining to The Pier in Cairns, welcome to Piato! Piato, named after the Italian word for "plate", has a "big emphasis" on entrees and sharing good food with good friends and family! Three well respected hospitality veterans h
Based on the great reviews and close proximity to our hotel, we popped in to Piato for dinner. Great location, atmosphere and service. Food was fresh and delicious. The octopus was cooked perfectly in the Greek tradition â nice and soft. Loved the arancini balls and sardines, but the stand-out dish for us was the prawn saganaki â fantastically tasty. Enjoyed a side of Mediterranean vegetables too.*Note that sitting under the ceiling fan was uncomfortably too cool for us on this particular night, but unfortunately there wasnât alternative seating available nor are the fans individually controlled.Dear GardengirlThank you so much for your review we are happy that you enjoyed the Piato experience. As for our fans these belong to the centre and are not individually controlled but you have given us food for thought to take it up with centre management.Kind RegardsElie
