A bunch of bikers in dire need of a light lunch, we spotted the garden seating area as we entered Bruchsal and took a punt. Great decision. None of us wanted a big meal - though if we had we'd certainly been well-accommodated, but we opted for conmbinations of soups and starters and ended up as full as we needed to be. I went for the soup with chicken dumplings and a mixed hors d'oeuvres platter. All quite delicious! One of our number is a vegetarian and wanted an omelette with some salads. Not on the menu - but this was not a problem. They don't have the best English but language barriers posed no real difficulties as the staff were most meticulous in ensuring everyone understood and got just what they ordered. In fact the staff were very welcoming and charming and made the whole experience a pleasure. Almost a shame to get back on the bikes!

Das Gute vorweg,freundlich und bemüht war das Servicepersonal.Das Essen war gut so, Pfifferlinge mit Kalbsfilet.Mein Schwertfisch, ein Stück war sehr gut, und das andere Stück war leider Schwertfisch Sushi, quasi Englisch und innen kalt.Als der Chefkoch an den Tisch kam,Hatte ich dies lediglich angemerkt,anstatt Entschuldigung oder ich brate Ihnen das Stück etwas mehr durch, kam zur Antwort: ja das ist nicht so einfach zwei Stücke zu braten, sorry ich bin doch kein Gourmetkoch aber er möchte es sein.Bei meiner Vorspeise und bei meinem Hauptgericht, waren die gleichen Beilagen und die gleiche SafransauceDa erwarte ich von einer Bedienung die Aufmerksamkeit, mich zumindest darauf hinzuweisen, ob ich wirklich beide Gerichte möchte mit den gleichen Beilagen!Das Service Personal bedient im Gourmetlokal und im normalen Restaurant.Da kann es auch mal passieren dass man ein Mineralwasser mit einem stillen Wasser vermischt im Glas !Tja und als meine Frau nach dem Hauptgang nach einem Nachtisch gefragt hatte kam zur Antwort: ja den Nachtisch hätte man gleich am Anfang bestellen müssen!Also mit einem Restaurant mit Hauben und schlemmer und Feinschmecker Auszeichnung hat dies nichts zu tun.Im Ergebnis: leider keine Empfehlung

There were three options for dinner (vegetarian, non vegetarian and dessert) but every dish was bursting with flavour and was beautifully presented; a fusion of mediterran and oriental ingredients with great spicing. Attentive and friendly service and an excellent range of wines (we were sitting in a wine shop after all). Open Thursday and Friday evening for dinner. We will return!Sehr lecker, raffiniert und vor allem ein tolles vegetarisches Gericht. Schönes Ambiente und aufmerksame Bedienung. Wir kommen wieder!

Grombach Suben is a very nice restaurant with great food, friendly staff and a great location. Also with a nice beer garden to sit outside during spring, summer, fall. A very different place and a great recommendation!
