Our group of 4 adults and 1 teen met here following a morning of hiking and pen making...yes that's a thing here :) Little Village Cafe doen't immediately scream "buritto," but fast forward to today and I'm going to highly recommend one of their specialty burritos. All four adults ordered burittos, 2 of the enchillada special burittos, 1 caribbean jerk style with mango salsa and 1 sirloin steak strip. We have spent some time in the caribbean and I know a good jerk chicken, Little Village Cafe I tip my hat and say you nailed it. Mago salsa at first was skeptical, but also proved me wrong. The one mac n cheese order looked incredible, I would also recommend based upon their recommendation. Location is perfect downtown, plenty of nearby parking options and inside / outside seating available. Service was great and even spunky as they called out our friend who doubted he could eat an entire buritto in one sitting...he did lol. We took desserts to go, awaiting a coffee to enjoy my cherry bundt cake but it looked and smelled amazing. Definitely recommended!

The service was polite, but I felt kind of rushed. The food was a little pricey too. It was an odd atmosphere for a cafe, however I still had a pleasant experience. If you are looking for a better atmosphere for the price, I would go down the street to Little Village Cafe.We appreciate your feedback! We strive to provide a great experience here at the Vine. We will do all we can to address these issues.

A unique, cozy and local restaurant, bar and SpeakEasy, offering a great menu with some items featuring lavender. This property is a sister-project of Devils Lake Lavender Farm in Baraboo Wisconsin 53913. Outstanding items are featured on the menu such as
As previous reviews have noted, this is a lovely lavender-themed restaurant. The food, unfortunately, was a disappointment. My friend had the veggie "impossible burger," and found it lacking in flavor, with no hint of the cheese that was supposed to be an ingredient. I had the naan-based margherita pizza, which seemed to be covered with a marinara sauce that came out of a vat--lacking in any spice. Worse, it was delivered warm, not hot, one of the staff admitting that it was left too long while preparing the other dish. The only outstanding part of the meal was the lavender lemonade--delicious. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, except for our young male server, who never smiled or made eye contact, and appeared to do his job begrudgingly. This is a fairly new restaurant, it is to be hoped that they can engage a cook who can create food that is interesting and tasty, delivered to the table at the right temperature.Thank you Moyshekapoyer for your review. We share every review at our staff meetings as we aim to exceed expectations. We have tweaked the recipes, timing and temperature of all of the items you noted. We especially appreciate your service report. Our staff is trained to make people feel welcome and relaxed.
