Rendezvous with ExquisitenessWe welcome our guests to a "Rendevouz with Exquiteness" in the charming historic and modern building complex, where once very special people resided and dined. Exquisite are the exclusive ambience of the restaurant, the gorgeo
Having booked a room at the hotel, we noticed shortly before arriving at the hotel that it also had a gourmet restaurant. We decided to try and make a reservation and were glad to get a table. Later on we found out that the restaurant team was quite new and that they were not well known... Yet. This is certainly going to change soon as I must say that I had one of the best restaurant experience of the last 10 years. I spend a lot of time in expensive restaurants for business reasons and it tends to become boring over time. So when I'm out with my wife and daughter, I mainly hope they will enjoy it. On that night, my 8-year old daughter has been welcomed like no other restaurant has ever welcomed her. A real princess! My wife and I were astonished by the innovative cuisine: nothing was boring, everything seemed interesting to try out. We chose to have regional wines by the glass, chosen by the sommelier for each course and this was an excellent choice. It's a young German chef running this restaurant and his team is young as well, but they are all very professional and committed to providing the best service. The menu is on the hotel website if you want to check first.Dear Guest, on behalf of the entire Team of the Restaurant JB Messmer we would like to thank you for your recession. Charming service and perfect kitchen is one of our highest premises. That the food and our wines was so wonderful for you is for us the "final touch" of your feedback.Thank you very mutch for that.Hopefully see you soon ....Alfons J.B. Weià & Team

Dear guests, our Restaurant Stahlbadâs Grand Re-opening will be on 25. October 2019! We are pleased to welcome you!
Don't bother with this restaurant:- We asked if they were anything they could do vegan because one person in our party was vegan. Without thinking even one second, they said no. Really? Not even spaghetti with tomato sauce? Makes me wonder if everything is pre-made and so they can't change it.- Even though we left after just 5 minutes, the waiter couldn't find out coats. Odd.- â¬8 for water is ridiculous.

We decided to sample the delights of this well known restaurant. The five of us had a great night. Started in the heavily wood panelled bar area for a heart starter and then adjourned to dine. Service was OK (typical German!); the food was better.Recommended place to go for a more up-market dining experience.Dear RogTrish, thank you for your positive recommandation. We look Forward to welcome you in the near future. Best regards.

The dishes here were a bit hit and miss. Unfortunately the main dish we wanted to try (the local trout) was already finished at 8pm on a Saturday so we did not have the pleasure of trying it and I found the menu fairly limited for alternative fish / light dishes. However all the food was very well presented and good with the exception of one dish which was a gnocchi with a local interpretation of sauce and not at all to our liking. That's fine but if 80% of a dish is not eaten its nice if the staff can take an interest in why so feedback can be passed on to the chef. The restaurant is a 15 minute drive from Baden and tucked away at the end of a residential road but a very charming setting with a garden terrace and pond and water feature. Avoid the gnocchi - ask when booking if all fish is available and you will have a good experience. Its also a good place to go with groups as you can still hear one another in this very peaceful setting.

The Wintergarten is a lovely restaurant with an endearing atmosphere. The menu is very limited (not a bad thing). We chose the evening special, white asparagus with veal, which was delicious. The bottle of local chardonnay went well with the dish. The service was excellent.Dear valued guest,I do really thank you for your positive comments and for visiting the Wintergarten restaurant. To know that you felt at ease with the service and the atmosphere is what we intend to achieve with our daily work and gives us great pleasure.I look forward to welcoming you here again in the near future. This restaurant apparently appeals to groups and hence can be noisy. But the food is serious good and the service matches it. We had a Shrimp Salad with 4 jumbo shrimp, Wienerschnitzel perfectly match with lingonberry sauce and horseradish potato salad, and a chocolate souffle with strawberry gelato, all exceptionally prepared and presented. If you are not in a group, possibly the back rooms are quieter and you can enjoy the culinary excellence even more.
