When a hotel transcends the cookie cutter type of manufactured hospitality you know something special is happening. This is what we felt when we stayed there. From the moment you check in you feel that it's a home, and not a hotel, you are checking into. From Ravi, the manager, to Gabriel, the server, you get a feeling that hospitality here isn't trained but intuitive and from the heart. In the evening we had an excellent dinner and drinks with other guests, people we were meeting for the first time, and it felt like a reunion of long lost friends. This is what defines a hotel experience. Cannot recommend this place enough. And yes order the steak!!

We had a great iced coffee here. Be sure to allow plenty of time because it took a while for them to make it. Definitely worth the wait though.

We stayed at the African Tulip hotel and ate several meals in this lovely and friendly restaurant. The food, geared to European/American taste, was very good and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The ambiance was great, too, with the artificial (but fairly realistic) Baobab tree in the center of everything.

Family owned business ,George is an active chef himself and priority is our customers and quality. We do accept credit cards and we can accommodate large groups.
Simple and nice Greek place, quiet atmosphere... Tried the pizza there, amazing. Heard salads and grill is the specialty! Small drawback is hard and not very comfy chairs. Tip for restaurant: get a couple of sofaes / lounge area. Thanks for good food Will return!
