We had a lovely meal here we both opted for the set menu. My husband had stuffed peppers and swordfish and orange cake. I had stuffed vine leaves and a Corfu chicken dish.My husbands swordfish was huge and looked lovely. My chicken dish was very tasty too but what made the night was the orange cake, it was so lovely and very traditionally greek lovely way to dismiss the meal. The location and decor is very nice here, vibes flowers and material table cloth, beautiful setting. The staff are very attentive and friendly.

We'd heard so many people praise this place that we had to try it. We were in the village for 21 nights and had vowed to eat at a different place every night. This plan went out of the window after our first visit. Aris and Maria have created a gem of a place. Great food, beautifully presented. A little dearer than the majority of tavernas but they offer something completely different. Wish we could go back again this year. Each meal we had there was truly exceptional.

We visited the Mathraki for their Sunday curry night when we were on holiday this year and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The curry and accompaniments were really tasty, fresh and home cooked. Our daughter had spaghetti and meatballs which was also excellent. The family are very welcoming and we had a lovely relaxing meal. The rest of the menu looked fantastic - a really good mix of home comfort food and lovely traditional Greek dishes. We look forward to returning to try them on our next visit to Arillas.

Lovely restaurant right on the sea front. Portions are really generous. The grilled red peppers with feta starter is amazing. Simple food but fantastic freshness and flavours. The moussaka was not heavy, but subtle flavours and fresh, some moussaka's can be too filling, but this was just enough. Still a good slab on the plate though. My partner had the soffrito, it was amazing and again a overly generous portion. Tender beef in a garlic sauce, a Corfu tradition. Lots of local only dishes, a grilled cheese starter was good as well. If your in the area, worth a visit and wear an elasticated waistband!!
