Things to do in Antsirabe
Big hotel with a small restaurant and poor service ...No need to revisit ... service was so slow , we almost forgot what we ordered. Pizza was of good quality !!

I ordered the zebu steak with pommes frites, my husband had a duck dish which was also very good. The restaurant was in a central location, only steps away from the Flower Palace Hotel where we were staying. We were the only guests there at 8 pm on a Monday night. Friendly service, waitress spoke some english which helped.

Delicious european starters, with Salade Landaise or Duck Foie Gras, at very reasonnable prices. Zebu fillet and many other good things on the menu. I would avoid the Magret de Canard (Duck Fillet), which is not prepared the way I like it: it is sliced and then cooked, which makes it a bit dry.

Set in a tropical garden in the city center, the setting is pleasant . His cuisine highlights local products in international dishes , such as raclette , tartiflette , but also specializes in spices and herbs with very popular Creole and Indian dishes in
Anyone travelling to Madagascar can easily get bored with the relatively small selection of different food at most restaurants, this is not the case at L'Insolite. The menu selection was gigantic, ranging from tacos, to fondues, to sandwiches and steaks. The food was prepared rather slowly, but I believe this is ran by just a guy and his wife. They are French, however the husband speaks decent English.

Ouvert tous les jours sauf dimanche. Service continu de 10h a 23h. Decor original, on s'assoie dans des Pousses Pousses. Cuisine française et malgache avec inspirations d'ailleurs Wifi gratuite Free wifi
This restaurant was recommended by our driver, so we decided to try it out. The seating mounted pouse-pouse seats, which are comfortable, and atmosphere are quite special. The menu is not extensive, but there are daily specials. The food is French and international inspired, but with local ingredients. The food we had was very good, and the service very friendly. Pretty cheap as well, and not too busy for dinner when we were there.
