Dinner with family on a saturday evening. Don 't forget to make a reservation. Always busy.It's an 2 hour all you can eat and drink concept. Friendly staff on arrival. Grandpa didn't know he booked an all you can eat formula, so he was waiting for the menu. We had to ask a young waiter to explain the formula. I think they have to say that every time. Then he spoke so softly that nobody understand what he was saying. You have to take your appetizers, dinner and dessert from a buffet as well as your drinks. Variety of food from sushi, chinese, dutch food, pizza, french fries. Icecream, friandises and cake for dessert. Perfect. You have to leave after 2 hour, if not and you are only talking to each other then you have to pay an extra â¬7,50 per person . That's too bad. We like to talk a little longer after dinner. It's was warm when we arrived, then it went cooler and cold because of the airco and hot again. Better climatecontrol to be advised.

Toen de Indische Chinezen in Nederland hun Chinees-Indische restaurants openden serveerden ze heerlijke gerechten gebaseerd op Nederlands eten zoals Smoorvlees (Semur) of boontje (Buncis) en natuurlijk pasten ze hun kruidenpalet aan aan de voorkeur van hun klanten. Met de overdracht van Honkong aan China in het vooruitzicht kwamen die naar Nederland, namen restaurants over en boeden Sechuan keuken, Mandarijnse keuken etc. aan als Chinees Specialiteiten restaurant. De Indische gerechten bleven op de kaart maar echt super was dat niet. De Kota Radja serveert nog steeds de smaak van het Chinees-Indisch restaurant van de jaren zestig en zeventig van de vorige eeuw. Je zou kunnen zeggen dat het een "gewone Chinees" is of "niets bijzonders" maar dat wordt steeds zeldzamer en dus bijzonderder. Bijzonder lekker, zoals het draadjesvlees van oma, een kroketje van Holtcamp of een vers broodje belegen kaas.
