Just had our best Bali restaurant experience at Swept Away at the Samaya Ubud. The setting down by the river, the excellent staff and food to die for make this a must not miss experience if you come to Ubud. It is a bit out of the way from town but worth the taxi ride. We have eaten at a lot of good restaurants in Bali however this is the best

Small place with only four tables but seriously delicious food. I could eat there every night. My kids (15 and 12) loved their meals as well.

I searched on tripadvisor a restaurant to eat close to our stay and I found Sun Sun Warung with good reviews. I gave it a try and it was a good choice, very good dishes and very cheap. I recommend "ayam sune cekuh", "ayam bakar" and "vegetarian mie goreng package" with "pisang goreng" as a dessert. The location is not too big, they have aroound 8 tabels. It was a nice experience.

Welcome to our Bali Restaurant completely surrounded by rice fields. Serving local Indonesian produce with South East Asian flavors. Choose from a selection of small courses from our Asian Tapas menu. Walk through the rice fields and our organic garden. A
At first we were a little apprehensive as the entrance to the restaurant winds you through a building site thatâs not attractive. ( this of course is only temporary)However, once you pass the building mess you are greeted with a well lighted path through a rice field to the restaurant. You are greeted with a warm Balinese welcome a shown to your semi outdoor seating. Try and book the table overlooking the fields. The menu Has variety of excellent choices. You can pick the chefs affair or select from an array of tasty tapas ( large) dishes. The food is presented with perfection and taste. This is a must try.

Set overlooking a jungle valley setting, Apéritif is Baliâs newest fine dining restaurant and bar. The eight-course degustation menu presents an unrivalled culinary journey that brings together global flavours of modern gastronomy, lesser-known Indonesian
We have eaten in many restaurants around the world with Michelin stars including 6 which have/had at the time 3 stars and Aperitif was definitely up there as a dining experience. The degustation menu offers diners the chance to enjoy several flavours from the kitchen and each course is presented brilliantly. The ambience and decor of the restaurant and the wonderful bar add to the appeal.

The meaning of Sawah Terrace in Indonesian is rice terrace. An All-Day-Dining restaurant overlooking the beautiful rice paddies and tropical forest offers meals with the highlights of Balinese and Indonesian cuisine, and farm-to-table concept right from c
The hotel is so big there is an elec6cart, with driver, to take you from reception to the all day restaurant. So lush and beautiful are the gardens you know it must be Bali. The view from the terrace is perfect; the river Rapids below. A lush green valley, accented trees lite from below.Service was exceptional; many local herbs and vegetables grow within almost touching distance of the tables, all labeled and cared for. Before you start you are offered a bowl of water with lime and a cold flannel to rinse your hand, smelled good enough to drink. Cocktails were small, but well made.We had traditional Balinese breads (more like crackers) with a splendid spread of sauces, dips and spices. Refreshingly different to plain bread. The main courses of red snapper curry, crispy duck, with more spicy sauces, 3 types of rice were good sized, well cooked and well presented. We only managed to share a pudding. The whole building, and surroundings are very pretty, subtly lit.As we were on an open terrace in the evening we were offered citronella mosquito repellent and similar candles. Very thoughtful.Minor issues were very trivial- the face cloths remained too long on the table, they charge too much for bottled water (a shame in a hot country) and the buggy back was a little slow to arrive, otherwise nearly perfect. Dear MootHouse,Thank you very much for taking the time to review your experience with us.We are blessed to be located surrounded by nature and with breathtaking panoramic views to the Ayung river; and we truly believe this helps to create a magical atmosphere. We are pleased to learn you enjoyed your time at Sawah Terrace; from the exceptional service, provided by our attentive ladies & gentlemen, to our selection of cocktails, prepared with local ingredients and handcrafted by our well-trained bartenders. Thank you for highlighting our traditional âLalapan"; a selection of vegetables, tofu and tempe served with different sambals (sauces) and crackers, placed on the middle of the table to share. We are glad to know your comments regarding to our authentic gastronomy, which you found well cooked and well presented, and we do appreciate your honest and positive feedback for us always keep improving. All the team at Sawah Terrace is looking forward to welcome you back very soon.Best regards,Anna MauriDirector of Food & Beverage
