Things to do in Suriname
The restaurant is on the groundfloor with good street access and parking in front or across the street. The Javan and Surinam dishes are decent and service is fast. The large restaurant room decorations are not typically Chinees. The prices are moderate and it has a good number of clientele.

Resa is a casual restaurant, with sn open concept. No airconditioning, but beautiful Indinesian themed decoration, nature with trees and a beautiful indoor pond. A nice tropical feel. The food is always great. Spicy means spicy here. The wait time can be challenging but it is worth it.There are Indonesian dishes, but you can also get fries and fried chicken and nuggets if you wish

This is one of the more popular warnugs in Blauwgrond which boasts several all on one street. We came to Manis for Saoto Soup. The portions were ample and the soup was delicious but I found it a bit on the sweet side. This is just a preference issue. I particularly like that the restaurant is slightly elevated so you have a great view of the street and lights at night as the warungs begin to fill up with people.

My friend and I randomly walked into an sparse restaurant and were seated right away. Then we waited 20min to get our drinks and another 45min to get saoto Snoep (delicious btw). We tried to order telo beef sate, and nasi goreng and we're told they were sold out. Ordered bami and chicken sate (delicious). Go there if you have tons of time to burn and expect horrendous service. Dear guest,Thank you for your rating and most of all your visit and your feedback which I appreciate the most. This will help me to identify and improve in this case, the bad/slow service. On behalf of my entire staff I also would like to apologize for any inconvenient and for our slow service. We hope to welcome you again soon.Regards,Romano Timan

I invited a group of business associates to dinner at Jawa. Whilst the food and service were good, I found the restaurant to be noisy. I hope as also disappointed that they did not accept Visa or MasterCard. I would recommend the Bakabana.

Recommended by business acquaintance, and agree this is the best Indonesian food in Paramaribo. Large portions. Fresh. Nice outdoor seating and friendly service. Only downside is slight odor of sewage drifting in and out while we ate.

An amazing dining experience in a peaceful tranquil setting. Excellent food and attentive wait staff made for an enjoyable lunch.
